Lovely position next to the sea. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. Staff were really friendly and always keen to help. Breakfast was delicious. Walkable to some nearby restaurants and a small shop.

Wonderful

Absolutely everything was wonderful. The people, Nancy, Dimitra and Mary at reception were fantastic. The people at all the F&B are great too. The rooms are spacious and we were upgraded to a suite and was fantastic. I would say perhaps to have more choice for breakfast but otherwise everything you have there is of really good quality and fresh. The recommendations for places to go to were top and reception took care of bookings. Overall amazing experience, amazing stay and amazing people. Highly recommend.

Found by chance! How lucky are we! Had to change island location due to poor weather and flight cancelations to original island. This was a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Staff wer fabulous and welcoming and very helpful in arranging tours, transportation etc. room was perfect and very quiet and was cleaned spotlessly daily. Strongly recommend this hotel especially to people wanting to be away from the masses. Can’t wait to go back!

Hippie Chic - 5* Review

It was a AMAZING hotel, the location is perfect and the sunsets on the beach are unreal. The facilities and staff couldn’t be better. I couldn’t recommend this hotel high enough, it’s a great spot! The restaurant is lovely the menu covers it all, and the view of the sunset is one you won’t forget! The rooms are spacious and have great facilities!

Our third stay and not our last!!

Our third stay at Hippie Chic Hotel and it won’t be our last. We absolutely love staying here for the beautiful rooms, amazing sunsets and of course, Hippie Fish with the best food on the island. Can’t wait to stay here.

The hotel is beautiful and it located in a great location. I have two complains. I guess is the end of the season and the staff is ready to go back home and tired of dealing with people, but the bartender was extremely rude and always in a bad mood. Guest and staff are allow to smoke anywhere at anytime. This is a problem if you are not a smoker like us, The receptionist smokes inside the office and at night you can't go inside the reception area because it stink, the restaurant has a semi open area and people smokes next to you while you are having breakfast, lunch and dinner.

First of all be aware: the hotel contacted me about airport to hotel transfer. I couldnt believe they were trying to rip off the guests. We were 3 people and we were told it was going to be 80 Euro for transport. It costed 25 Euro to take a cab from the airport to hotel. My bathroom smelled like urine when I got there. When I complained I was told it was due to wind changes in the area. After they asked for them to clean it. Smell went away. Other than that, hotel is in perfect location in one of the nicest beaches in the area and has a great restaurant. Front desk girls were nice and helpful. The rest of the staff were not but it was ok. We still had a great time due to hotel location. Bc

I loved the location and the design and mostly everything about the hotel. There were few things in our room which was not convenient. The air conditioner above the bed was so annoying. We had to move around. Also the water would come out of the shower because of the pressure of the water. Otherwise loved everything about it

Amazing beachfront hotel with one of the greatest and friendliest staff ever. However, do not book their cheap deluxe rooms because you will trapped and suffocated. There is not enough air flow and it gets very humid. Try to get a room with a window opening to a view or balcony. Other than that, it's a fantastic hotel.

Room situation poor no windows , views or access to natural light. Staff unreceptive to concerns and no effort to offer alternative room. In any case very basic. Took my sons laptop as security when seeking cash for airport transfer. Like hostel accomodation yet £200 per night. I would not recommend this 'hotel' to others.

The staff went out of their way

We stayed at Hippie Chic for a friend's wedding which was taking place at the Hippie Fish restaurant next door. The views were fantastic. What made our holiday however, was the way the staff looked after us during our stay. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed the holiday with our one year old daughter - nothing was too much trouble. From the lovely lady on reception to all the staff in the restaurant, everyone was faultless. The hotel was lovely, the room was spacious and clean and the food at the restaurant was good, if a little pricey. We would've liked a few more walkable options in the area for eating and drinking, but other than it was a great holiday.

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel - the pool area and lounge/bar were lovely. The view of the bay is spectacular. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - made to feel very spoilt. Breakfasts very good - plenty of choice and we were told it was free - think there have been complaints as people were being asked to pay £15 euros each when most hotels b'fast is inclusive at that room price. Downside is situation of some of the rooms - right behind the Hippie Fish restaurant so there is noise from staff/clattering bottles etc and strong smells from the extractor situated on the roof. Several of the rooms have no view at all. Our room was quite spacious but shower room very cramped and decor tired - pedal bin didn't work properly which is a bit irritating due to Greek plumbing. Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay but don't think the hotel rooms match up to the website info. We had a deluxe room but I don't think it really merited that description

Disappointing NOT what I paid for!

Paid extra for a Superior Room with sea view as I was taken by Superior Room photos on hotels.com and Hippie Chic sites. Was given room 123 on the GROUND floor, which I questioned straight away as it had a patio area with people on sun beds immediately in front and people also walking passed our room as a main thoroughfare. Questioned whether it was a Superior Room and expressed disappointed at lack of privacy. Receptionist advised that it was a Superior Room and that it has a sea view, pointing to partial view. Saw the manager who advised "this is one of our best rooms and no other rooms available - we are full". On my return, checked hotels.com Superior Room description and it states "BALCONY with sea views" with balcony photos. Hippy Chic site description states "Superior Sea View rooms are located on the SECOND or the THIRD floor and enjoy a spectacular view of the Aegean and the island of Delos" and photos with unrestricted sea views from balconies. Waiter service often too long bringing food, drinks and bill. Ordered meals at lunchtime, which came 15 mins apart, advised we're still awaiting my meal - waitress replied "it will be ready when it's ready". Disappointed by general casual, nonchalant service, which is what is clearly pulling this hotel rating down!
