Fine run of the mill older bargain motel on Route 66. Good for a one night stay. Room smelled faintly of cigarettes but otherwise clean and well outfitted with mini fridge, microwave and 40" tv. Bed was comfortable. Included breakfast was usual cold cereal and bagels.
Stayed one night in early March. Lots of places to choose from in Santa Rosa. This is one of the seemingly newer ones and part of a major chain. We liked the reviews and felt the price was reasonable. We found everything fine and okay. We liked that we could park at the room door. Breakfast was typical and unremarkable but satisfying.
This is a comfortable, simple hotel. We were traveling with a pet and were very happy with our room and the ease to get in and out. The room was clean, quiet and the staff very helpful. There is a grassy lawn that my dog enjoyed and was a welcome sight in an area where grass is at a minimum.
We were concerned about an Econo Lodge due to previous experiences but was impressed with this location. It is either a new facility or recently remodeled. The rooms were very nice with plenty of places to plug in devices for use or recharging. The person who checked us in was very professional and concerned with our comfort.
This was obviously once a classic 60s-era motel: three sides, parking in front of the room, office at one end. Just like many more along Route 66. This one has survived thanks to strong pricing, refurbished exteriors and rooms and good service. Front desk staff was friendly, the room (#111) was very clean and attractive. Included a newer TV, DVD player and even a recliner, which was a nice touch after a long day on the road. King bed was comfortable, there were charging outlets at bedside as well as on the desk, which were appreciated. Bathroom was clean and everything worked fine. Breakfast was unremarkable and not plentiful. Plenty of restaurants nearby. All in all, a great investment and a good night's sleep. I will definitely stay here again.
A lot of fast food restaurants near by when either getting into the town or leaving the town. Very easy to find and access from the highway. We needed a place to sleep with our very agitated baby on a 16 hour road trip. This stop was about our halfway point so it was very handy and useful to stop get rest. and start again the next day. You can park right in front of your room and walk into your room. Fridge, microwave, small coffee maker. Beds aren't the best. Kind of older hotel. TV Worked. Tight bathroom space. its nothing I would like to spend an extended stay on but it was useful for exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend for a rest on a long road trip that won't break the bank.
We didn't have a reservation and were just passing through. Very friendly and helpful checkin as we were interested in good wifi. We were given a room near a router and were able to get good reception. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. The breakfast was not huge but about average for what you would expect for a budget place.
Passing through New Mexico, Santa Rosa was as far as we wanted to drive, so we looked up motel options. Econo Lodge popped up as reasonably priced with pretty good reviews. We booked the room through a search engine, and when we arrived check-in was fine, and the front desk was helpful in assisting us with a couple of requests we had. There are a couple of diners within a 1-3 minute walk with good food. The room was fine, bed was comfortable. No frills, just a good night's sleep at a decent price. Would stay there again.
Room was clean, there were 2 usb plugs next to the bed which is handy. Price was very reasonable, free WiFi, microwave and fridge. Small coffee maker. Very impressed. I would stay here again for sure.
Found it on Trip Advisor on the same day as arrival. Great price, easy check-in clean room, very comfy bed, OK breakfast and nice and quiet! Would certainly stay there again the next time I'm through the area.
