My wife and I stayed here on our Cross-country move with a 26 foot truck towing a car. Parking in the gravel lot adjacent to the hotel was convenient and super easy. The hotel was clean, well-kept and quiet. Breakfast was good with the usual HI items and served until 10:00 am, which was nice. The employees could have been a bit friendlier, but the town is kind of sad looking with lots of abandoned businesses, so I wouldn't be that happy living there either. It's certainly a nice place to stay if it's the end of your drive for the day or if you're exploring the area.
We stay at many Hampton Inns when we travel and just need a clean place to sleep. Over the last couple of years, the hotel quality has plummeted. The lighting is poor and has a “green” tint—LEDs donor have to be like this. Rooms are tired and ugly. They have a true budget feel that I hate. Newer properties are better, but many, like this one, needs an overhaul.
Not representative of other Hampton Inns where we have stayed. Complete updating badly needed in our room. Carpet was the worst I have ever seen in any hotel--stained everywhere except close to wall & corners. Shower area had loose hair in the wall. Terrible smell in the room & bed sheets so thin & limp. Not as expected. Really disappointed.
Beautiful and clean hotel with large rooms very comfortable beds and very friendly staff! Would recommend for anyone going through Santa Rosa. I was so surprised by the nice sheets and beautiful duvet covers on the beds
I have never reviewed a hotel before, although I appreciate genuine reviewers. But this hotel, it warrants my comments and my time. Everything about the hotel was spot on! The night staff was incredible, night manager even walked outside at midnight to show us where to park. He was very kind and accommodating to my very sleepy 3 kids. The room was very clean, and I'm neurotic, but it was also huge!! It's very difficult at times to find a room/hotel that will accommodate My family of 5. When we awoke, the breakfast was wonderful. And the breakfast host was amazing. As a family that has traveled thousands of miles across our great states I can honestly say, this was the best hotel experience we've ever had. I wish that we could take this hotel with us!! Great job with staff hiring!! They were all beyond kind!! Great job on cleanliness!!
We have stayed at a lot of Hamptons and the staff at Santa Rosa needed some better training. After a long day in the road, you expect a greeting when you arrive, not the keys slid across the desk with a "here you go". As a Honors member, bottles of water are standard, had to go back down and ask for them. You would have thought I asked for a gift basket! Come on, have some customer service. Hotel is located across from a truck stop, easy access off I-40. Entire town is a flash back to 40 years ago along Route 66.
I always stay at the Hampton Inn during the annual motorcycle rally. We put in a lot of miles and long days. Rooms are quiet and comfortable so we get rested and well fed at the free breakfast for each day on the road. Staff there is great.
This hotel, like most Hampton Inns, does not fail to make my stay AMAZING. The food was great, the room super clean and everyone I encountered, including the guest who held my room door as I maneuvered the trolley into the room, very polite.
We were on our way home to Arizona. We like Hampton Inns cause they are always clean and comfortable. We have never stayed in Santa Rosa but wanted a shorter drive the next morning. Our check in was flawless, our room very comfortable and clean and breakfast the next morning was good. We even got a snack bag for the road. Great stay!!!
Spacious room, clean- had micro/mini fridge. Good room for family w/ 2 young kids for short stay. Good breakfast goes til 10am (thank goodness) for us late risers. Ac was noisy- hopefully they will fix.
