Designer Inspired Beach Cottage, One Short Block from an Expansive Beach

This adorable one bedroom cottage is centrally located in Santa Cruz, one block from Santa Maria beach - a vast sandy stretch of beach for sunset strolls and beach play. The cottage is within walking distance of Starbucks, an amazing italian deli, Sunday Farmer's Market, two taquerias and a great italian restaurant.

The cottage is behind our main home and has a charming, small yard and side entrance. We offer a Cal King Bed, Queen Sofa Sleeper and full kitchen.

The space:
This is a guest cottage behind our home. With beach living, we are all fairly close together (neighbor included). We try and offer as much privacy as possible and please know that noise can travel easily between homes. We ask that you respect quiet hour times.

The full kitchen offers an array of amenities including a Nespresso Coffee Maker, Milk Frother, Toaster/Oven/Air Fryer, Ninja blender, Ice Maker, Dishwasher, full-size oven and cooktop. We offer an array of coffees and tea.

The main bedroom has a Cal King bed and offers a large screen TV and full closet for storage.

The living room has a sofa sleeper that has a queen bed and includes a TV and Sonos system for music or TV.

The bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a jetted tub and handheld shower.

As we live close by, we are happy to provide special requests or offer additional speciality appliances if we have them.

Guest access:
The side yard and the front yard are your small outdoor oasis.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

This cottage is absolutely perfect! It looks exactly as advertised with beautiful, comfortable decor, a fully appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, and a king bed to sink into for a great night of sleep. Just steps from the beach. I loved it!

This beach cottage was super cute, fantastic and the hosts were perfectly accommodating and available. The place was spotless and had many extra amenities that you don't find elsewhere, like plenty of coffee, snacks, spices, condiments, plush towels and quality toiletries. The place was small, but very well laid-out with a really nice kitchen and living space. The area is very walkable, the beach was right across the street, and the harbor was about a 20 minute walk away. I really loved my stay and would highly recommend!

The East Cliff Beach Cottage was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay in Santa Cruz. Easy check-in, clean, comfortable and well appointed. A for bathroom amenities- super soft towels and high quality supplies (soap, shampoo, etc.). It’s private, secure, and spacious feeling for a condensed footprint. We will happily return!

Beautiful 1 Bedroom cottage behind owners main residence. Private entrance, plenty of amenities such as kitchen equipment ie: coffee, blender,microvave etc... Beautifully arranged as in furniture and access to blankets, towels, pillows. Actually more than enough for the two of us. Overall so very comfortable and cozy. We will be back for sure. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming and checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed.
