Best Western Inn

My room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Nice and spacious, recently updated. The TV channels are limited and there's no guide, which is annoying but not major. The staff was professional, courteous and warm.

Although the room (a king suite) was nicely appointed, it was located at the front of the hotel adjacent to the street and highway. It wasn't worth what I paid (not even close) as I barely slept and had a race to do the next day (Santa Cruz 70.3 triathlon). I'm usually a big fan of Best Western but not this time.

Located right off freeway. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in area. Room was decent and clean. Overall the place is pretty run down. The hot tub is just gross. It's in a little shack right by the parking lot and doesn't look like it is ever cleaned. It is also very tiny. The parking is very tight and there is very little of it, but it is free. The only staff we encountered was the front desk clerk who was very courteous and helpful. Overall if your looking for a somewhat decent place for a somewhat decent price it works.

We fond the motel and enjoyed it. The staff directed us to an excellent place to eat. It has easy access t freeway and beach.

Best Western does a very good job with their well planned accommodations. Room was comfortable, good size, clean, had microwave & fridge, large mirror & counter top in bathroom. We didn't like outside entrances to the rooms, otherwise, everything else was good. Also, they provided a decent breakfast.

Very helpful and nice staff. Enjoyed the cleanliness and overall experience.

Bad location. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was difficult

Love this hotel, aside from the tiny parking lot and no pool the hotel is comfortable and feels like home. The staff is friendly and makes guests feel welcoming

This was nice and clean and price was right. I would go back

This was the perfect family getaway to Santa Cruz. The motel was convenient to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and The Wharf. The staff was most friendly and accommodating. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend this motel to others.

We stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night because it was $100 cheaper than Saturday night. The room was decent, the beds were good and clean. The bathroom was also clean. There were however stains on the carpet and on the chair so it made me want to keep my shoes on. The continental breakfast was great with a lot of choices. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. Overall a pretty good place to stay. My one complaint was the garbage truck at 5:45 am with the loud backup beeper, other than that it was a quiet stay. But Santa Cruz in the summer is crazy and won't be coming back this time of year.

The hotel's in a great location. Close to all the freeways. Restaurants for all palates within 5 minutes by car.The beaches and Boardwalk's a short distance away. Ninese Marks National Forest was less than 15 minutes away. From the hotel, you can hit all the major attractions in either direction in less than 15 minutes.Great for people who wanted to leave the car and walk. Prices (gas/restaurants/events) were reasonably priced. Enough events to handle all ages/interests. Would defintely return to both the town and hotel. Enjoy!!!!

All things fine here except the service. 2 desk personnel on the verge of rude. other than that, all good.

The room that we got at first smelled really bad. I had to ask for another room and they changed it with much better room with no smell at all. I was wondering why they didn't give that second room to us in the first place.

The staff was very friendly and lenient with check in and check out time.

Welcome relief at the end of a long day. Convient, comfortable, customer-friendly.

Non smoking room smelled like they were trying to cover up smoking. Old carpets. Old room smell with air freshener cover-up.

I stayed here for new years eve and although the room was fine, I had requested the king size bed and instead got a queen. I didn't complain until I found out another couple we were with had paid less and gotten a king. Disappointing

The room was clean and fairly quiet. The price was reasonable

Well we were given one room, my husband went to sit on bed, and it colapsed. Now my husband is not overly heavy (6ft 235lb) so we had to get a new room. Bathroom was very small. It had a very perfumy smell, like they try to overdue the freshener. Walls are thin. If you just need one night, then go for it. I would not come back to this place.
