Breakfast could be better and the breakfast area needs to be bigger

Once I arrived at the hotel the man behind the counter notified me that there would be an additional charge of $15.00 since I booked with Orbitz and not his hotel website. He was extremely rude, the hotel entrance was filthy, the entire place smelled horrible(like curry). He definitely needs to take a customer service class and clean his establishment. Will never stay here. I cancelled my reservation immediately!

Great upgrades to these rooms! Very clean. Nice staff and close to our favorite places in Morro Bay! The only issue we had was our bathroom door didn't close very easily. It was like the door was too big for the frame.

The stay was uneventful for the most part as it should be. However 10 minutes before check out I received 5 phone calls urging me to check out on time.

Nice clean hotel nothing fancy, but is close to the beach. Continental breakfast could use some improvement, not much to choose from and there was no coffee made, and the orange juice tasted like it was watered down or like Kool aid .

My kids and I really enjoyed our one-night stay and the breakfast which is included in the price. The remolded rooms are cozy.

This was not our first choice but the others were full. It is OK but a very generic experience.

Needed a place to stay prior to an early morning deep sea fishing trip with a bunch of FFA students and their Advisors. The Hotel was close to the wharf, and had plenty of parking. The room was comfortable, but a little small. Noise was not an issue so I got a good night sleep, however I did find a small bug, that was crawling on my covers. I wish I could have shown it to someone to identify it. As with most motels/hotels you can always find something wrong with the place. Over all,D it was a great place to stay at a very reasonable price

We wanted a clean and quiet room and that's what we got. Spent most of one time on the beach and needed a shower and a bed so this fit the bill. Can't really tell from outside, but was recently updated inside. A lot of restaurants nearby so I didn't worry about breakfast which looked like coffee and a waffle maker. Again, just needed a nice place to sleep .

Don't get a bottom room if you want to sleep. I have been staying in rooms across the country for 48 week a year for eleven years, this was the worste room I have had. I have four pictures I tried to insert but it wouldn't let me put on this page. Maybe the upper room would be a two star. The bottom is maybe a one star.

Spend there a quick night and everything was great - off course considering the type of hotel where the most important point to consider were: confort and cleanliness. Was not expecting breakfast but had a simple but good one: coffee, fresh waffles with syrup, toasted bread with jam, all you need to start a good day. Owners were very nice! Definitely would come back!

We stayed here in March of 2013 and really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The location is very good, just a short walk down to the bay and all the restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights and were very pleasently surprised by how nice our room was. It was comfy clean and modern. It is a short walk to the stores and restaurants on the bay. The staff was very friendly as well.

I didn't expect much for the price, but I was with a friend who was on a budget, and we wound up here. It's in the middle of Morro Bay, walking to basically everything if you want. I was very pleasantly surprised after the reviews I read. The rooms (at least ours) were recently renovated and clean. The hotel is quiet, which was good for us, and I would not hesitate to send a friend there. I'm sure it isn't the best hotel in town, but for the price, it's more than you should get.

For your money, the bed was really nice. The place is a block away from the water. It's nothing special, but a nice clean room with a comfy bed.

The room was recently renewed and had a very nice and clean style. We could barely believe that was offered for the price we paid. Highly recommended !!!

Travelled with my family. It is quite old, heating system is outdated and room was small for 3 beds.

We were looking for a place close to Fisherman's Warf and other "tourist attractions". This was great vicinity to everything we wanted to see. ALthough parking wasn't ideal, we were able to deal with it and manage (considering all other hotels charge you for parking or are first come first serve). We arrived past midnight and we were greeted very friendly. Great place if you just need a place to sleep, shower...basics. Not for someone looking for all the extra amenities.

Hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. Walking distance from everything. Very peaceful and helpful staff. Updated rooms with basics but very comfortable.

Not bad but a bit run down. Motel is in need of some repairs. The stairs for instance are crumbling at the top floor. The rooms are ok but could use some updating as well. It was a bit costly for what we got. Oh well had a great time anyway.
