The bed at first seemed conformable but overtime, neither my daughter nor I were able to sleep because the bed was uncomfortable. The TV stayed on 1 channel. The remote worked to turn TV on/off and volume up/down. Would not give menu or change a channel. The evening hospitality clerk was very friendly and helpful. The morning of check out that hospitality clerk was rude beyond belief. Wouldn't look at me had a mean tone to her, helped a gentleman with his trash because some guests were blocking the can but left my daughter standing right next to him with trash in her hand. She didn't smile, say hi or thank you have a good day. All I got from her when I asked what I need to do to check out was, while not looking at me but at the computer, you want a receipt or email. Clicked the computer and that was it. Nothing more and yes I was pleasant and did say have a nice day but she refused to be at least deacent. Really don't know why. Really don't. I will not be staying again.
Everything was great. Breakfast was great also. The room was nice and comfortable.
What I didn't like: room sound-proofing was poor, Bathroom was small. What I liked: staff was nice and location to Morro Bay Embarcadero was convenient.
Clean quiet and block from the bay. Great staff.
Checked in and they had wine and crackers night. I was impressed they had this out for all to enjoy. Hot tub was amazing!
The room was good, clean, no problems there. Our only problem was waking up to no power. We couldn’t charge our phones before we left and had to take cold showers. I definitely feel like we overpaid for this stay.

Pro: The refrigerator could be easily unplugged to make the room quieter. Cons: Much noise came from the neighboring room and the room above. The room felt humid.

The staff was very nice and the rooms were nice. I'd stay here again.
No air conditioning. Bathroom window faces walk-way so if you want it open to keep from suffocating from shower steam, people will be able to see into the bathroom. The building with the rooms is away from any and all staff. In case of emergency you have to walk to another building to seek out staff. Hot tub area was dirty, slimy, unkept and totally vulnerable to crime. You could see scum and green algae all over the bottom of the tub and surrounding area. No staff anywhere near the hot tub or the rooms. Rooms vulnerable to break-ins. Doors to entire building are not locked. Anyone can enter from the parking lot door and there is no staff to stop them. If you talk on the balcony, it echos into the room next door and sounds like you are on a stadium speaker. (the guy next door to us was on his phone for hours on the balcony talking about his love life). If you have a west facing room there is a great view of the rock and sunsets.
This is a decent hotel in the Morro Bay area. It's close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. It has a free continental breakfast but it's just yogurt, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, waffles and pastries. It's an okay continental breakfast but I've seen better for the price of this hotel. I would stay here again if the price is right but would probably try another hotel in the area next time. Staff is very friendly and there is free parking and internet.

The motel is conveniently located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants along Morro Bay. It is also a very short drive to the Morro Rock and Morro Beach. I would recommend getting a room that faces the bay. Not getting an ocean view room was my only regret. The room was small, but it was fine for one night and it was clean and well maintained. My family enjoyed the continental breakfast.
