near water across from Morro Rock. Many restaurants. nice breakfast next door to hotel. Small hotel, room was fine, not fancy. Had coffee maker and refrigerator, comfortable bed. Easy to get on highway one and 101. Hotel had a nice sitting area with tables.

The rooms faced the ocean, and it was so cute. They're old so don't expect a brand-new hotel but for the price we were comfortable, warm and it came with cinnamon rolls! Parking is also easy and free.

Love the location, the beds are comfortable, and the garden is cute. The is friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night. The only thing that I would say is if you move your car durring the day, be prepared to not be able to find a close spot until late afternoon/ early evening.

Stay Away - Worst, Smelly place ever!!!!

I would give this minus stars if I could. The only good thing about this place is the location. We left a day early, without a refund do to the poor condition of the room. There was such a STRONG CAT PEE smell, bugs crawling on the baseboards and then on the bed, black mold in the shower. Just disgust throughout the teeny tiny room. Talked to the manager, she said she would have the owner call me the next day. Well it's been 6 days and still no call or refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you want to smell like cat pee and have bugs on you. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend turned into a bunch of stinky laundry. This place is terrible.

The most comfortable beds

I have never felt a more comfortable bed in any Motel I've ever stayed in. I felt at home, the staff is great, and what a beautiful place.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but clean and bed is comfortable. Location is close to everything. Good value for price. Would stay here again.

Right at the Beach

This hotel is very nice and clean. It’s located right on the Embarcadero so everything was in walking distance. The only issue was that the walls are very thin and our first night we couldn’t sleep well from all of the noise. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

The office staff were amazing. He helped us with our late check in and comped us the most delicious cinnamon rolls from the neighboring restaurant. The reasonable price, walkable shops, restaurants, vicinity to Moro Rock and the wonderful staff made it easy to overlook the quirks that come with it being an old facility. Think motel 6 with an amazing view, amazing cinnamon rolls and the friendliest inn-keeper you’ve ever met. Note - our room did not have HVAC but they provided two electric heaters that kept us cozy all night.
