The staff was welcoming. Room was extremely nice-airy and comfortable, and the fireplace was a plus as it was chilly when we stayed. The bed was so comfy down to the soft sheets. Thanks for a great stay!

Worth a stop on Route 1

This is a cracker of a property bang on the front at Morro Bay. Staff were brilliant on checking and offered an upgrade due to my status on Hotels.com. Galley for dinner was a great find and food was excellent. Defo head for a Swim on the beach near the rock. If your from the uk it’s like a cross between Nevin in North Wales and Perranporth in Cornwall. Loads of seals and a working fishing port! Not far from Hearst castle which is something to see!

Overall, it was a good experience. My big pet peeve is always the ambient noise level in the room from surrounding rooms and other things. We were on the second flloor and the noise from the room above (walking, opening the sliding glass door, etc) was way to loud. We were also across from the hot tub and heard people as they enjoyed the hot tub. Eventually, it subsided and we could go to sleep. Advise getting on the 3rd floor.

The hotel looks great on the website, but once you open the door its jank. The bed is very firm. the window is really small. The robe that was hanging up has puke on it. They're asking to much money for these rooms. You're better off at a motel for a quarter of the price.

This is a gem in Morro Bay. We have stayed more than once and loved the corner suite. We have stayed on both the second and third floors and found them both to be quiet, clean, and have wonderful views. The only cons are poor water pressure in the shower/tub combo and weak Wi-Fi. Overall, the easy parking, convenient location, and how quiet and clean this hotel is make it a must for anyone visiting Morro Bay.

Great stay. Nice property, although dated. That said they are undergoing renovation. Additionally, lot of small touches that were really thoughtful. Bed was super comfortable.
