We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, well-kept, and in a great location.Just a heads up for future guests: parking nearby is strictly enforced. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, it may be worth considering rideshare instead of a rental car to avoid any stress.Would definitely stay here again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, a little removed from the bussle of the main streets and a 5-10 walk to anywhere in old San Juan (including for our 6 yo which says a lot!). The bedrooms had A/C, the whole apt was very clean. We had awkward times for arrival and departure and Carlos was incredibly accommodating with allowing us to store our bags. Would definitely recommend!

The unit definitely has an old-world charm. Please note, this is an open-air concept. When you enter the front door, you are on a balcony. The kitchen is fully open to the elements, and the bedrooms open to the balcony. We found it to be very neat, but unexpected. Carlos was awesome with communication, and he provided many great things to do around the city.Pros: Amazing location, close to everything and great to walk around Old San Juan, neat concept, gives you a real European feelCons: Do not expect to be spoiled with air conditioning while watching TV

Property was very difficult to access as three floors up and no elevator which was not in the description. Initially asked if we could store our luggage during the day prior to check in and was told there would be availability to do this but when we arrived we were to,d we could not store anything until 1.30 at the earliest. Eventually after numerous emails etc and much begging we were allowed in to store our luggage outside the door of the apartment. Not a very clean property and would not stay here again.

The host was very responsive and friendly. The apartment was clean. We did have problems with the door lock not always working. One of the twin mattresses had a big lump the size of el Morro. There were no dish cloths, dish towels, or hand towels. In one bedroom there was a cabinet with drawers and a hanger bar but it was full of blankets and pillows so there was no place to put clothes. We had to keep our suitcases on the floor. The kitchen had no hot pads.

The host is very responsive and fair. Great location. It has essentially a courtyard/outside hallway that you walk through to access all of the rooms. This is very traditional set up and very cool way of living/experience! The only recommendation I would give to the host is to prepare the house with more stuff when electricity shuts down, which unfortunately can happen due to the hurricanes affecting the San Juan grid. I.e flashlights, portable separate gas stove, candles. The did have battery powered lights you could click in each room. I also think it’s a good idea to have more mosquito repellant/protection in the house (mosquito zappers, mosquito repellant, nets) as there is more of an interaction with the outdoors as you access each room from an outdoor hallway. Overall great experience with some minor recommendations.

The apartment is wonderful, cute, and full of character. and its location in old San Juan is just perfect. Street parking is not an option, but there are multiple lots nearby. Bedroom AC units were a welcome respite from the heat. The host was communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better base in Old San Juan. The apartment is beautifully situated with a stunning view at night and the location is ideal—easy access to everything we wanted to explore, yet quiet, calm, and relaxing when we were ready to unwind. It was the perfect balance of being right in the heart of things while still feeling peaceful and comfortable. Getting in and out was easy, the space felt well cared for, and we genuinely looked forward to coming back at the end of each day. We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation.

Beautiful larger size apartment with two bedrooms and a huge living area. Extremely open (balcony connects all rooms) yet also very private with a nice blend of in/outdoors for those that like that. AC is only in bedrooms. Like most everything in Old San Juan, close to everything one might need for a beautiful time in PR.
