We were in a room under a very loud part of the house and didn’t really sleep well but upon telling the staff the next morning they went above and beyond to move us to a quieter room. So wonderful.
We spent one night at the hotel, and it far exceeded our expectations. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and we were graciously upgraded to a beautiful room. Eating at the restaurant is a must: the food was phenomenal, and the service was equally impressive.

Incredible hotel with an incredible staff, our one day stay made tgr trip back home stateside a breeze. The prices are on the high side for Costa Rica but worth it! The restaurant is amazing, do NOT miss it!
Hotel Grano de Oro is an absolutely charming historic hotel. We only stayed there for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed the extremely helpful and courteous staff, the easy and safe parking, the relaxing roof-top jacuzzi, and the beautiful room. Our favorite part of our stay was eating dinner at the hotels restaurant. The food was delicious and the service top notch!
Very nice and super clean hotel. The staff was great (just like the rest of the people we met in Costa Rica). The restaurant at the hotel was awesome too. The area where the hotel is located doesn't look very nice and we were not sure we were in the right place, but then we found it and were extremely impressed.
