very professional staff! excellent location and resort accomdations

Nice staff. The cleaning chemical smells everywhere My room sat with both bedrooms facing the street ! Very noisy even windows closed

Horrible staff service. It took us 20 minutes just to check in and we found a pair of dirty underwear in our bed.

We chose this hotel because it was comfortable price for the amount of time we would be staying in it and I was not disappointed. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, the location was a little bit bizarre because it was in Desamparados kind of hidden but since fortunately my husband is Costa Rican and his family lives not too far from this location it resulted convenient as well. I would stay here again because this hotel is fully equipped. It is not close to beaches the closest beach is probably Jaco and its about an hour away. It is close to San Jose's airport and malls about 10-15 minutes. There is heavy traffic around Desamparados but it doesn't affect noise wise since the hotel is on a back road. Security is always available at this gated hotel. I will be staying here again.

Creo que las instalaciones pueden estar mucho mejor

We stayed from May 3rd to May 9th and from May 18th to May 24th, and it was the nicest places I could have picked. The staff was great, always smiling, very happy. I wish I could remember the name of the waiter who always stopped to say hello and make sure we were having a good stay. The manager was really friendly and also gave us a gift when he found out our wedding anniversary was coming up. I would definitely pick this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

The hotel looks lovely inside styled like an old city center. The room, though spacious, was mediocre. Needed work, looked very shabby. The location is doubtful. I wouldn't venture much outside.

The initial staff experience was redeemed when met a person that could take a decision. So I really enjoyed my stay.

Is a very nice family hotel. With all the appliances of a small appartament. The only down is of there is not TV at the room.

A nice hotel, especially if you travel with your family, it has a full appliances and kitchen.

Great stay. Just beware that the general hotel description on this website lists that all guests receive complimentary breakfast. We found that not to be true with our particular reservation. They said it was a matter of selecting the wrong room. If that is important to you just watch which room you select. They listed it separately. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful, grounds well kept, great service, and taxis always ready to go out front. Already booked for another stay.

Rooms and facilities are well kept and clean...up to date..Friendly staff and comfy beds...sufficient space in a regular accommodation..would be great for couples or families....

We were very happy with this Hotel. Everything was excellent.

We arrived late because of flight delay. The staff was very helpful, and restaurant quite good. The room had two bedrooms, washer/drier, and a kitchen. The hot tub was luke warm but there was an excercise room. The pool was nice, but right at the resteraunt. Great for a family for a stay in San Jose though a drive downtown

Nice non-chain hotel located far from airport in hard to find community of San Jose. Good value and quaint hotel with pleasant staff. Uniquely Costa Rican decotated hotel that is only a little dated. Good hotel,, but so hard to locate in a city with poor street signage and google maps that just doesn't work properly.

The decorating touches were not expected--beautiful stain glass windows and wall paintings. The staff is exceptional-- friendly and helpful. The restaurant was okay with a great breakfast buffet and some dinner items done very well. The sea bass was outstanding but other dishes were unexciting or strange. The location is an inconvenience considering the time it takes to get to downtown San Jose during rush hours.

Beautiful older hotel, spacious suites, lavishly appointed, good on-site restaurant, expensive. Full free breakfast, helpful staff. Gated secure grounds, free parking. Very very difficult to find like many places in San Jose. No signs, not the the best part of town, otherwise a gem.

I love the location as well as the staff. the hotel was excellent. I will tell my friends about this hotel to anyone who is visiting san jose in the future. Great place. I can not say it enough.

I have stayed here before and its a good value for the price. Suits have two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is large has a good oven a and fridge, it is also equiped with pots pans and almost everything you need to cook. Supermarkets are close by if you choose to cook. The restaurant is good also. The service is friendly and efficient.

I travel with my family ( 2 little boys ages 2 and 5), I take the junior suite full equiped with kitchen and laundry inside (like a little condo), In general shapes was ok. clean and comfort. the only bad thing, It was only one tv in the living room and no tv in no one of the two bedrooms. so it was war for the remote control. All the rest was ok. better i expect.
