The ONLY thing that I needed was more wash cloths. Everything else was great. Comfy bed, kitchenette, and spacious enough. Great views.

Had a great view of the city, but i literally had to sleep without the AC on because it would leak water, half the floor was covered in water and i had to mop it up, so i couldnt even get a good sleep due to how hot it was in the room, then the last day for some reason the toilet wouldnt even flush, wasnt given any wash rags, just 2 body towels

I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! I really love the decoration in my room and the view was amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full sized fridge. The AC and WiFi work very well. There is always a guard at the front door downstairs. The only issue I had was the temperature of the water in the shower. It was either too hot or too cold (for me at least). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely come back!

This is my second time staying and BEE Suites Escalante. I will always stay here when I come to Costa Rica. Great place to stay and Escalante is a very nice area with a ton of restaurants and bars.

All the reviews are true. This is a great place to stay. This very walkable to so many restaurants and bars. Barrio Escalante aera is safe, and everyone is super friendly. If your from the states, its kinda like a little five points in the downtown areas of cities.The units are modern and have great views of the city with the mountains in the background. Everyone hates on San Jose, It just like any other big city with good and bad areas. This is a good area. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger and book it.

This property was amazing , beautiful setup . Street that it was on was very empty not much traffic. Police do casual just stroll pass but it makes you feel really safe!!! Only downside is reception doesn’t speak English , they are very kind but you will need translation app if you or your group doesn’t speak Spanish. You do need reservation for jacuzzi but that can be booked downstairs in lobby. I would definitely stay again

The place itself is nice. However, as a woman staying alone in the apartment I felt very unsafe without an internal deadbolt to secure my room. Anyone could possibly try to access my room with the keypad or a key. Someone even tried but did not succeed around 2am. The keypad also did not successfully lock my room when leaving so I had to request a physical key. The cold water pressure was fine on the shower but the hot water was barely a trickle. I do not like cold showers or minimal water pressure so showers were subpar either way. Finally, it was very loud. I don’t know if it was noisy guests or construction, but not a pleasant night experience.

My wife and I had never been to Costa Rica before, so we did not know what to expect exactly. Driving to the BEE Suites looked a little rough at first, but once we got there it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and eat. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and our view of the city was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.
