The staff were nice, but there were two big issues with my stay. The first one is that the Wi-Fi just didn't work at all in my room, or my floor for that matter. It was perfectly fine in the lobby and gym but not my room. The second and much bigger issue is that my room's safe didn't work. They got someone from maintenance over, but didn't fix it so I had to carry my passport and wallet around all week.

This “boutique” hotel, which we stayed at pre pandemic, needs major updating. The room had central air but we had to use a big box in the corner. When we arrived there was a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and we had to ask for more. The soap, hair products and body lotion are cheap. The TV is ancient and the remote volume did not work. We did not get two waters a day as promised and we had to ask. On Saturday I came back at three pm to do some work and the room had not been made up. Not what we expected

Located at the center of Old Town San Jose. Some traffic noise, Convenient parking. Just a couple walking blocks from the Farmers Union, great drink and grub.

The room didn’t get cleaned and I stayed there for 3 nights. There is a coffee machine in the room but if you use it the dirty cup don’t get replaced with a clean cup nor it get cleaned so I run out of clean cups to use in the morning
