Although it's a bit of a "bare bones" kind of hotel, the rates are reasonable, the rooms are comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff was pleasant. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to lay your head at night, this hotel fits the bill.

For the price, i enjoyed my stay

Friendly staff. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good.

The area was busy and there weren't really any places to get outside to walk. Also, no pool

the only thing I didn't like is lack of near by eateries. None in walking distance any way,

It was all good. The room was ready when promised and clean. Would stay here again.

The hotel was being renovated and instead of being section by section, the whole hotel was in array. It was uncomfortable to walk into that. Our room was small, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed and there was hair sticking out of the hairdryer (we didn't use it, but could see it sticking out). It just seemed like a dirty hotel.

The night front desk employee was very pleasant and the room was well maintained.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a nice time at this hotel.

Nice and comfortable, great service. Room was clean.

I only stayed one night and arrived very late in the evening. The employee running the front desk was very helpful in getting me a taxi to the airport for 6am the next morning and they covered the expense since the shuttle was not available. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a complimentary breakfast but I left before it was available. The area felt safe even in the dark.

Best kept secret in the Bay Area. Cleanliness is the 2nd to none. Breakfast is great!

This is a great value especially if you can get the Jacuzzi rooms!

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room. Very pleasant experience.

The walls are thin. Could hear the person next door talking on his cell phone.

This might be the greatest value hotel in the area. The location on Montague is easy to get to and easy to leave. Enterprise Car Rental is a couple blocks away. The parking is not bad and if you get in late, there is plenty of parking on a quiet street. In fact, the whole area is quiet. They pay for a free ride to the airport in a taxi. The room is of average size with lots of cable tv and free internet although I had to use a cat-5 to connect. They have a good breakfast and a fruit tray in the lobby that always had fresh fruit. There was a bigger than usual fridge and coffee. The shower head was high enough for my head and plenty of hot water. My wife and I stayed six days. When you leave the hotel, take a right on Oakland Road. Go to Brokaw Road. Take a left to get to Costco and a right to get to Fry's. The only thing lacking is a hotel restaurant.

I am confined to a wheelchair and many hotels aren't very convenient. This one was great: The bed wasn't too high for a transfer (many others aren't that way) and the room and especially the bathroom were large and easy to maneuver in. Everything was neat and clean and the staff asked several times if I neeeded anything.
