We stayed here for two nights and found it very comfortable and clean. It is near to a huge number of restaurants and supermarkets. The breakfast was really good and they have a swimming pool with sun loungers, tables, chairs, parasols and towels. Free wifi and coffee too.

The hotel was quite comfortable, quiet, good air conditioning, a fitness center and pool, a good breakfast buffet, and nice employees. The location was good, a choice of good restaurants for dinner right down the street. I had 3 days in San Jose before boarding the Okeanos Aggressor and took 3 excursions. On the first day, visited Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs. It was a very, very long drive, the volcano was partly covered by clouds, but quite impressive. The hot springs were a bit too commercial but relaxing and beautiful grounds. The best trip was on the 2nd day to Doka coffee plantation, Poas Volcano, and La Paz Waterfalls. The Poas main cauldron was eerily beautiful, stark and moonlike. A secondary cauldron was lush, green, and gorgeous. The walk down through the rainforest at La Paz with multiple waterfalls was exquisite. The 3rd excursion was just a half day in San Jose, a few nuggets, but pretty ordinary. I’m very glad I spent the extra time in San Jose, unlikely I’ll ever get back.

I guess if you have to be in the area for business purposes, then this hotel is clean, convenient and reasonably priced. But it doesn't pretend to cater for tourists. There is no entertainment, and the public areas and rooms are very basic. No restaurant, although there is an American style shopping centre down the road, most of which was closed the evening we were there. The area has an "industrial estate" feel to it, and as 2 women travelling alone, we didn't feel inclined to explore too far. We were only here in passing, for 2 nights, but even so, I'm sure there are better hotels in the city if you want to get to know San Jose.

We loved this hotel because of its great location. It has a supermarket in front and several places to eat at night within walking distance. This makes it great. Good service, good breakfast. The bad part was that my mattress was very old and uneven.

everything is great except for the traffic.that is a serious problem through out C R room, service, people, food and a big bang for your buck location is really nice and quiet anything you need or want is within walking distance

This hotel is across the street from a grocery store and within very easy walking distance of a number of good restaurants (two brew pubs, Indian, Italian, Mongolian, BBQ, and various fast food). Rooms are typical for a chain but modern and clean. The staff was great-- very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast includes local dishes (gallo pinto, yay!) but they don't typically restock-- so when e.g. the croissants are gone, they're gone. The outdoor pool and gym are small but well maintained. The pool features a flock of loud lorakeets, which is fun. Be aware that this hotel is some distance from downtown, on the edge of a (very nice) residential area; you'll need a taxi or Uber to get to most San Jose attractions. Overall I'm well pleased with the value we got from this hotel and would stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the service and specially the breakfast. Amazing fresh food and very delicious. The staff is very gracious and accommodates all requests with a smile. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel is located in a suburb of San Jose and is not far away from the airport. As such, it mainly caters for visitors on their first or last day of their trip to Costa Rica. It is a very decent choice considering the following: - San Jose main city does not seem to offer similar options - Santa Ana, where the hotel is located is probably a better place to stay compared to the city centre - the hotel belongs to a chain and the standards of service are not likely to be a surprise - it has good size rooms, comfortable beds and is quiet. Our room did not face the main road, not sure if other rooms are noisy but the neighbourhood is quiet anyway - It is reasonably priced - we particularly liked the fresh fruit which were part of the breakfast buffet and the coffee - there is a shopping centre with a number of restaurants nearby. We loved the food at the Vietnamese restaurant - for those who want to see what San Jose main city is like, there is a guided tour and the company which does this can pick you up from the hotel. Although we found it rather 'cheesy', it was still a good way to see the city.

This hotel is convenient for the airport and has places to eat nearby (catering for tourists rather than locals, so expect high prices). Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is buffet style and typically Costa Rican.

An adequate hotel for a short stay. Rooms are spacious and clean but breakfast choices are somewhat limited. There are several good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and some shops, including two supermarkets, within five minutes walk. Otherwise nothing to attract tourists to the location.
