My family and I were happy with stay. great location!

Nice stylish hotel! Great location and away from the noise.

The location of this hotel was the best part about it. We used the trolley system a bit during our stay and turnaround spot for the trolleys was only a block away. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and hospitable and the room was clean and had a great view. All in all, we would stay here again.

The hotel is in the ideal location of Union Square, within walking distance of a lot of major attractions. We only stayed one night, and it did the job just fine. Basic amenities, not luxurious, but very clean and helpful staff. Would recommend it for its convenience and price.

Hot muggy room with little to no ventilation. No fans, no AC. Just a cracked window. 25 dollar “service fee” per nite for internet wifi network that doesn’t work. Cut corners. Gouge customers. Expect bad ratings.

I would recommend this hotel to a single male. Very minimal. Not much space to put all the essentials need in the bathroom for a woman or family. The room was clean. The beds are definitely worn in but comfortable. Close to shopping and the trolley cars. Didn’t have much issue with noise. You can definitely hear the trolley, traffic, and yelling from the nightlife but we had the tv on all night so it didn’t bother us. They keep the windows open in the hallways so I’m not sure if the smell is coming in or going out. There’s definitely a smell walking through the halls. Our stay was fine but i wouldn’t stay here again.

Wonderful location, right in the heart of Union Square. The location is the best you can get. Would stay here again just for the location. The rooms are small but clean and refurbished. Be prepared to pay an extra hotel fee of aprox 28 USD a night.

Staff was great, room was clean and good location. Two complaints. One- the air conditioning didn't work and 2 you have to pay a $20 convenience or hospitality fee which isn't published on Orbitz or anywhere. This is supposed to be for access to coffee in the lobby in the AM and wine in the PM. Would prefer to have a choice rather than it being mandatory and not forewarned,

Room very small. Outdated. Was not the cleanest either. Dusty side boards, doors needed to be wiped down

I loved the location location location was perfect.

My wife and I showed up a decent amount of time earlier than check in. We knew we would be pushing our luck with what time we showed up but wanted to try anyway. Boy are we glad we did! The very nice receptionist lady gave us two options. One room without A/C, but had great views, or another room that did have A/C but near the elevator. We ended up choosing the room without A/C because SF doesn't get that hot anyway and she suggested for views. She was very nice and sweet. The room was clean, cool, and very comfortable. We didn't hear any of the other hotel guests and the hotel location couldn't get much better. The hotel was located right next to a nice parking garage and we didn't have to get back into our car all weekend. A great experience and the wine hour wasn't too bad either! I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to visiting again on our next visit to the city!

No air conditioning and no screens on the window. Kept hearing screaming outside. Room extremely stuffy and bed and pillows very uncomfortable

The staff here is WONDERFUL! Location is perfect (right next to H&M). The building has that old school classic charm but they did a great job wit weaving in the modern decor to make it feel clean and classy. We parked at the union square garage when we arrived and left the car there all night and the following day for $36 which was so cheap compared to some places and it was a very close to the hotel.

Find another guest's underwear, the cleaning is bad, the air not cooled, the hotel has a good hub

Super dirty, no AC. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. I can hear every step people take in the hotel.

Thank you for sharing this unfortunate stay with us. We are very sorry to hear your visit was less than excellent. We are always happy to accommodate a new room if you are unsatisfied as we want our guest to be comfortable during their visit. We also apologize you did not see our daily facility fee when booking. We are sorry again and wish that your stay would have been more enjoyable.
