Our hallway and room on the 6th floor smelled old or moldy. Wifi did not work on 2 of the 4 days we were there and the TV stopped working on the last day. We were told that these were known issues and were given a refund of one day's resort fee. I liked the unlimited complimentary water.

The quality of care and attention the staff provides is amazing and well worth the stay.

While many aspects of the hotel were excellent, the problems we encountered took a great deal of the pleasure out of our stay. We arrived to be told our reserved room type of was not available due to air conditioning issues. We were given a smaller room with the promise of having AC. The temperature in our room hoovered between 74F and 78F throughout the three day stay, even after a hotel engineer worked on the AC unit. The warmth made uncomfortable conditions for relaxing and sleeping. We were given Bar/Bistro credit to compensate for being downgraded to a very small room. We attempted to use the credit for drinks and food on Sunday night, only to be told they have a limited service of “drinks only” on Sunday and Monday evenings. There were very expensive breakfast options, and the espresso drinks had a burnt taste. The Bistro staff were not trained on using the voucher credit, making for awkward moments as they stumbled through the process. We opted to visit nearby dining establishments for our breakfast and coffee needs. The hotel is located in a good neighbor for shopping, dining, and transportation options! Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly, offering valuable suggestions on attractions & restaurants. The checkout process was not good. I was not provided with a receipt. Two days later an unexplained charge appeared on my card. The hotel staff could not tell me why I was charged. The charge was reserved.

I must say this has been the best service ive ever recieved at a hotel. They were always friendly and helpful. And just accomadated everything i needed. Always had a smile.

It’s a nice theme. The front desk staff need to work on understanding English a little better. A lot of miscommunication on their end. They kept telling me one thing and another staff telling me another. It was stressful and frustrating. Also, all these fees. When I checked out @ the front desk staff told me about all these fees that were about to get charged on my card and he said the staff should have told me about it when I checked in. I knew nothing of these fees and let alone SF is expensive so I left very not happy. Will not be coming back.

Boutique hotel with pineapple theme. Staff friendly and helpful

Staff was amazing. They were really nice and helped make our stay a special experience. The room and lobby were also clean and beautiful

Really cool hotel, lobby is beautiful and a nice place to have a drink. Room is small but cozy and staff is super friendly. Only thing that was suspect was the parking situation. ~$70 and the valet guy seemed to not want to park our card.

Absolutely loved the charm at the staypineapple! Staff was extremely nice, friendly and accommodating!

Hotel Alise is centrally located and walking distance to many places we wanted to go. The staff was excellent and made us feel welcome. The room was small but comfortable, well-appointed, and clean. The bath products were very nice. Don't miss the afternoon cupcakes! And be sure to stop in at the bar for a nightcap. Highly recommended!
