This place feels like it’s needs a renovation to the hotel rooms. The main areas are nice but the rooms smell like mildew. We had a leak in our first room and had to switch rooms- total inconvenience having to pack everything up and move everything after flying in from out of town. They did the bare minimum with regards to compensation for the inconvenience.

There was a party going on the room upstairs the last night (March 23) my daughter Heather and Mike stayed at the RB Inn. I think the partiers were part of a group in for a Wedding. You could see trash left on their balcony the next day. I believe the room number was 205 my daughter was in. We complained to the front desk but they never quieted down. I actually paid for the room for my daughter as it was their 5th anniversary. What a disappointment. Beth F

Really pleasantly surprised! Had read reviews about rooms that need remodeling, were tired, etc. I found the room and property to be really charming. Was even in one of the "cheaper" rooms. It's a good lesson in quality; because the fixtures, bed, room features etc were higher quality, it felt great to stay there. We've all stayed in other hotels that were more modern/ updated visually (look great in photos) but felt cheap quality -wise.... Like you could break a faucet or lights don't work. The overall quality of Rancho (especially at the price point) felt solid and luxurious. Made me want to stay on the property and dwell in the room. Also the grounds are lovely! Really enjoyed walking around all the pathways and terraces.

We were greeted in a very rude and discriminatory manner by a valet staff when we were entering the property to check-in. My teenage son and I were stopped by the valet staff and asked several questions about what we’re doing on the property, lastly if we were there to check-in. We are a Latino family with reservations to this hotel. We did not need to be interrogated prior to our check-in. After we checked in to the hotel, and are way to our room, we again asked by the same staff to verify that we had indeed checked into the hotel. Our family has stayed at this hotel at least on two prior and never experienced this. I will say staff at the check-in desk was friendly.

welcoming staff. lots of parking. i was there for a wedding, beautiful venue but planning for the rain that day was forgotten,, we all got wet. should've put up a covering.. other than that it was awesome. i would stay there again
