The bed wasn’t quite supportive enough, but otherwise we really liked the location and the suite we stayed in.

I have a prosthetic leg. The "accessible" shower had major issues. The 1st room they gave me had the shower bench at one end and the faucet controls and sprayer 6 feet away at the other end. It was comical and impossible for me to sit down, take off my leg, and then turn on the shower to wash. The 2nd room they gave me only had hand rails on half the shower walls. The other half had no hand rails. Also comical. The seat was a stainless steel (cold) triangle in the corner of the shower with a maximum depth and width of about 18 inches. This means that, since it was a triangle, it was a diagonal half of an 18 inch by 18 inch square. Showering was scary and nearly impossible. I was constantly sliding off the triangle seat with only one leg to support me. With no hand rails on the left side of the shower, I could not maneuver or hold onto anything to stand on one leg to rinse off the soap. In addition, the space was so small that I spent the entire shower experience with the shower curtain stuck to my body. It made me angry that Hampton would have such an unsafe and poorly designed handicap shower. It was NOT accessible. For the 2nd night shower, I had to unpack my own shower chair, which I bring for emergencies. Still, the shower curtain stuck to me throughout the second shower, even though I was seated on my own chair. Lastly, and if you're handicapped, you know what I'm going to write, the accessible rooms were all at the end of the hall, farthest from the lobby! Why???

Clean and service is prompt. Convenient location and good breakfast.

It is a nice property in a central location. The staff are friendly & the property is close to many things to do

Excellent customer service here. The breakfast includes a variety of food.

Overpriced. Good clean rooms, but cost is steep for the area. Nothing is walkable, and the hotel is abutted by two freeways (though noise is minimal). Parking is strange. Good overall.

Great breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had an issue with the fridge in our room.

Nice hotel, close to the freeway and a 6 minute drive to UCSD.

Convenient comfortable hotel. Location was where we needed to be

dog barking through the night; got room on different floor; puddle of water in front of a/c

We stayed five nights and greatly enjoyed out stay at the hotel and exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again!

My daughter, son in-law and children where very happy and comfortable staying in the suite and that it was very nice. The kids didn't want to leave the room they just wanted to stay and relax. The kids didn't make it to the pool because it was Thanksgiving weekend and they were at my house during the day but my daughter and son in-law were happy with the gym.

Parking was a breeze, front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was surprisingly excellent.
