Easy to get around. Like the set up of the property very beautiful

The fire alarm was malfunctioning at all hours of the morning and staff didn’t seem to care that it happened. Room smelt musty. Heater did not work in our room.

Property was close to shopping, local attractions, and restaurants. Rain created some puddles throughout the hotel walkways, but the staff swept those the following day.

The way it was designed it felt like it was Hawall

The Hotel was located conveniently to the areas of San Diego we wanted to see. Getting on I-8 was tricky especially the first time.

area is convenient to old town and not too far from downtown and seaworld. Property is a little tired but the rooms are OK

Walkable to several restaurants. And close to our group meeting venue.

The bed was like sleeping on a cement slab. The bedding was cheap and stiff. The blanket was stiff. No extra blanket, we got cold. The breakfast buffet was nasty and very expensive. I paid $32 for 2. The eggs were runny, the potatoes, bacon and sausage were stone cold. The only thing edible was the blueberry muffin. The coffee was so bitter was not drinkable. Essentially I paid $32 for 2 blueberry muffins.

Enjoyed the stay. Like paradise. Will return again

The waterfall, the gym room, the bar and TV area, the seating in the front of the hotel, very comfortable looking, the store thts inside the hotel right next to the bar area on the side, very convenient..

The hot tub area had a smell near it, there was no were for my husband and I to relax due to so many kids being their, we had to pay for parking which was horrible trying to find a good spot close to the hotel. We never saw staff and our room was only cleaned once which was the day before we left.

We have been staying here every year for five years. Last year we brought our dog so they put us on the first floor by the pool and we liked that room. So this year we asked for that room again. They gave us a room about 8 rooms down. We returned late and when we turned the light on, a roach. Then the hot air hit. No ac. No TV. No phone. Next day another roach. Went straight to manager who kindly relocated us to another room in another building on a higher floor. No more bug sightings for the next few days. But we will probably re-think next years vacation location. It’s a beautiful property, but I hope they take care of that bug problem on the ground floors

The pool area was gorgeous! Staff was friendly. We checked in very late, around midnight. When we got up to our room we saw there was a leak caused by the air conditioning in the ceiling. We listen to a drop of water hit the wet carpet every 13 seconds all night because we were too exhausted to change rooms. The next morning engineering responded immediately and left a dehumidifier in the room are entire stay. There were pros and cons to that. One Khan was being woken up in the middle of the night with the machine beeping that it was full. Had to dump it once per day. Not sure if they forgot about it or meant to leave it with us for that long, but the rooms are very humid and having it was pretty nice.
