We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, we had a great view of the Tower Life Building, and the hotel was an easy walk from a beautiful section of the Riverwalk. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. There were some space issues with public areas: not much seating at breakfast, the pool was small for the number of guests. But overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this convenient, friendly and clean hotel.

Fun experience. Only complaint about the hotel would be the parking - parking lot is very small, costs $12/day and very difficult to find a parking spot. Other than that, it was a good walking distance to the river walk and Alamo.

Didn't have room for me. So they sent me down the street. Far from where I wanted to be and got an inferior room. Still trying to get hold of manager to get some type of refund.

Everything was wonderful except maybe the parking situation. We made the silly mistake of parking under a tree and the birds messed up our car! But that was our fault. We were in such a good location that we never had to drive our car until we checked out to come home. Oh and while you are there, walk south along the river to the King William District! Lovely area and so peaceful!

Very nice and everything look pretty new hotel. The room is very nice and convenient. Very awsome breakfast. 10 mins walk to river wall, alamo, mall and restaurant. $12 parking fee kinda ok but small parking lot (you may out of spot after 9pm). We will definitely come back this hotel on next visit.

Room was nice and clean, no complaints abou anything but the Parking was a bit tricky due to events going on but other than that would definitely stay again. Very convenient location

The Hotel location was great - it was a very short walk to the Riverwalk which was very convenient if you didn't want to deal with ther hassle of finding parking at Riverwalk. All of the staff that we came into contact with very friendly and very helpful. The front desk staff were overly friendly even with our non stop questions asking about the area. :) They offer a nice breakfast in the morning and have freshly baked cookies at night - just nice extra touches. The room was comfortable and clean - we would definitely stay here again. It was a very nice hotel for the price.

excellent location, two blocks from Riverwalk, Really good breakfast, very clean and comfortable rooms, quiet

For the price that was paid for this hotel I do not consider it worth it. Firstly I would not recommend the parking unless it is a slow night, you can go to the lot right next to the hotel for $5/day and not really have an issue with parking. But otherwise you pay about 12 bucks and you get whatever parking space is open. For this type of arrangement the hotel should offer it for free to park at their hotel or give you a voucher with the one next door. Next the check in was quick and easy, but then you get to the room and the fridge works half way, the ac works half way, no matter how much you set the temp it will only goto about 75. If you have a fan it may help some at keeping the room cool enough. I took the filters out of the ac to try and get it to cool a little more which helped some but not enough imo. And of course the filters were really dirty. The room was a decent size but if you think about using the pull out couch for someone else think again, the room isn't big enough where you can use it without it blocking the aisle to get to the bathroom. Beds were soft but very uncomfortable, not really sure why. Plus is the pillows were comfty. For the quality of the hotel I do not believe it lived up to the marriot name.

The hotel was very nice with a friendly staff. I liked how there was always coffee, infused-water, and chupa chips lollipops always at the front desk. It was also nice that there was a lot of variety at breakfast and a night time bar in the lobby. The fitness center was pretty good and spacious also. The location was fantastic, it was in walking distance to the riverwalk and Alamo. Parking was adequate and reasonable.

excellent. drove down from austin to visit family. very close to river walk and good location for holidays..it is about another mile from a not so great area...but we never crossed it..stayed on good side. had fun.

Experience was fine. Hotel was not on the riverwalk but it was an easy walk to it. This was one of the few hotels that allowed a single night's stay during the "turning the christmas lights on festivities". Only disadvantage was that we had to park at the overflow parking lot due to the aforementioned festivities (last parking slot by the way). This was about a block away so was not a big deal. Other than that the hotel was great. On a non-festival weekend, I would definitely consider this hotel, that is, if your budget does not allow you to stay ON the riverwalk.

It was nice, but there were a few things, like they had no signs whatsoever on the outside, I guess they are changing names or something, so was a little hard to find, they didn't have a room with 2 beds for us, but gave us a cot and waived the 12.00 parking fee. The check -out time was posted as 12:00 in the room on the paper information, but they told us it was 11:00 and they wouldn't honor the 12:00 time. I didn't find the front desk girl at the time we were there very helpful. The breakfast was continental only. On the plus side, the room was clean and quite spacious, the shower was huge! So all in all it was quite fine. The location was great for walking distance to the River walk.

Close to the Riverwalk, nice tropical little pool, friendly staff, good prices. I'd come back anytime.

Extremely comfortable king bed, large room; felt very luxe for the price! Good location in town - short walk to Riverwalk sights and great Southtown restaurants. All around perfect for a quick weekend wedding trip.

Room was ok breakfast was not bad. The location was a bit far from Downtown and attractions should of spent an extra $50 and stayed closer. Overall slept well

Attended a work conference on the River Walk. Good location, short walk to River Wall. Food was not so good but it was a good hotel overall. Good price good location.

Location is great, room is very comfortable. Most people had breakfast coupons, we never got any and had to pay $10 each. Also, parking through the hotel is $12/day when right next to the lot is another lot for only $5/day.

It was a good stay. We had a very late check in and called around noon to let them know we would be in around 2am, lady at the front desk said it would not be a problem. We arrived at around 2:45 and the gentleman closed out the day and had us as a no show. Luckly they still had our rooms had was able to retrieve the reservation. The only other complaint was that it was 10 bucks for breakfast. Was not very impressed with that. Other than that, the rooms was very clean, staff was very friendly, rooms were had plenty of room for all 7 of us, and a very short walk to the river walk. We would stay here agen and recommend to a friend.

Nice big rooms, two TV's, and really comfy beds. We walked easily to Riverwalk and the Convention Center. Great friendly staff. Good enough buffet and a real bar and coffee house. Good value, will definitely stay again.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. We regret that the parking fee wasn't explained to you when booking the reservation or at check-in and that parking options were so limited. Downtown parking is typically $15 per day and we try our best to keep the rates down for our guests. I hope that we will have another opportunity to welcome you back again soon! Thank you so much for your business. Very Kindest Wishes, Enrique Hernandez Assistant General Manager
