Room was excellent, very helpful staff, really enjoyed the full breakfast at La Quinta. There were two challenges with our stay; first, the side door at the bottom of the stairwell was always open, making it easy for anyone without a card key to enter the building; and second, the pool was easily accessible, but it had not been cleaned, so we spent the first 15 minutes cleaning and skimming the pool before we got in. Location is awesome; easy access to the highway to our destinations in Garden Ridge and North San Antonio

Hotel staff overbooked rooms and the evening of our check in, we are told we no longer have a place to stay. I had to hurry to find a place for my family to stay. My issue is that if I had cancelled, we would have been charged - but when the hotel cancels at the last minute, we get nothing - no compensation, no alternate accomodations, no credit for future stay.
