Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Downtown/Market Square

Courtyard does a very nice job of making sure that when you stay at any of their hotels, the experience is consistent. Clean, Affordable, Nice amenities.

1st day did not make up the room 2nd day some maintenance was done in the room and they left behind screws and anchors all of which are sharp and could have easily caused injury 3rd day we ate breakfast at the hotel which was barely eatable 4th day thank god we were leaving. There was little effort made to keep the hotel or the grounds clean Very dated

This was the second time I've stayed here in two months: one during Christmas-time and then a month later. Both times the staff was friendly, rooms were clean; HOWEVER, the elevator was STILL being repaired. I normally like to book the top-most floor but did not this time. I understand things get broken and need repairs, but an entire month for one elevator?

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the downtown area. It is about 1 mile walk to the center of downtown from the hotel. Marriott must have recently purchased this hotel chain. The lobby had been recently updated, however, the rooms and rest of the hotel is extremely outdated. As I write this review the elevators were down for maintenance leaving only the stairs to get to floors 2 & 3. The stairs, hallway and room had a musty smell which was rather potent. Running the air condition helped with the smell in the room. The downside of this, was the air conditioning unit was extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep with the noise. Turning off the unit made is hot and uncomfortable.

Great hotel close to everywhere we wanted to go walking distance.

We found a very friendly staff. the room was nice, but we thought that it was closer to the river walk. It was ok after we got used to the walk. The highway noise was an issue, but after 11PM the noise went away

My Orbitz reservation included breakfast, but hotel refused to honor it. One day we left room at noon and room was not cleaned whole day. For 3 of us they only supply 1 small bottle of shampoo and lotion.

This is our second stay at courtyard at the Marriott in San Antonio. So near the river walk and market square. Staff was very helpful with everything. The cafe in the hotel was very good. We had breakfast there several mornings. We look forward to staying here again on the next trip to San Antonia.

This hotel was easy to get to. The staff was very friendly. Our room was tidy when we got back from our day at Lackland AFB. No breakfast included would be the only downfall for us. Would stay there again if there is a need to go to San Antonio.

The hotel stay was okay. I had hoped for free breakfast as with other hotels I had stayed in. The little store was very expensive. Haagen Daz ice cream was very expensive. (7.50 per carton) Really? There was a huge smell of mold/mildew in the bathroom. Probably would not stay there again.

The location worked out well. We were able to walk to downtown without the$10 -$20 parking rates. The hotel saved enough over other places closer to Riverwalk to pay for eating out.

Stayed there to be near my job and it was convenient location wise. The staff was very helpful and always professional. The room was very welcoming and the bed was so comfortable and the best nights sleep on the last night. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I stayed here not knowing how close it was (within walking distance) to local attractions. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Good place to stay in safe neighborhood.

The staff was excellent. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. I would stay her again

The hotel was as advertised. Met our requirements. Staff personal were friendly and helpful. The only problem was there weren't any restaurants near by.

enjoyed once again, the staff is accommodating and highly competent. I received terrific recommendations for dining out with customers and all around gracious, friendly staff

Rooms and service were great! Not far from SA main attractions...still need the car but close enough.

Great hotel with clean rooms and basic amenities done right. Not too far from downtown. 15-20 minute walk.

Staff was SUPER helpful and friendly.the location was not quite walking distance to the river walk but only minutes by car. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

The stay overall was really good. I had the hotel call a cab for me to the airport and the staff was very concerned about me making it to the airport in time. And the breakfast was delicious.
