Very conviennent location near the promenade, and within short walking distance from the old city! Good stay.
Great staff, great location. The rooms are good in size and they took care of a problem with my shower.
The staff was extremely pleasant and ever helpful. I got there extremely early and was able to checkin and received a nice upgraded room. The wifi was of good speed and had no data limit restrictions which is nice. The only fault I would say is the shower setup is not very conducive for taller people such as myself.
When we checked into the hotel, we were informed that we received an "upgrade" to a larger room. It turned out to be a run-down 'residence' in an apartment building a block away. The staff showing us our room acted surprised that we did not appreciate the kitchenette and bunk-beds along with the stained carpets and entirely unappealing room. Not at all what we thought we had booked for two nights in Nice..... If the hotel was overbooked and the staff had informed us, and perhaps apologized and offered other options instead of pushing us into this dump of an apartment, I would not be writing this review. On the positive side, they grudgingly but eventually helped us find another hotel not too far away and we were not charged for the room, thus the rating or 2. Luckily we did not prepay at the time of reservation!
Really enjoy my stay here. The hotel is two minutes walk to the beach and near lots of stuff to do in Nice. The staff was super helpful, the room and the bed very comfortable. I definitely recommend and I would stay here again if I make it back to Nice
