This is not run like a five star hotel, but more like a 3 star hotel. They do not understand customer service. I was terribly disappointed with it. There were so many issues, starting with my room itself.

This property is a gem. In our travels around the Southern France, it was an oasis of quiet and calm and luxury. The gardens are beautiful, the rooms so comfortable. The staff, from front desk to all dining were absolutely wonderful; a rare combination of warm and very efficient. It was old world hospitality and we felt wonderfully pampered.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Accommodating staff. My room was nice, but the bathroom needs renovating. The grout needs replacing and the ceiling had large cracks. I was in the newer part of the hotel.

Very charming hotel close to city center (about 20 minute walk). Beautiful gardens. Totally recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic stay

This hotel is simply outstanding in every way. The staff is fantastic-warm, friendly and always helpful, whether assisting with dinner reservations in the region or a late breakfast in your room. The rooms are simple elegance, ours had a beautiful view of the pool and gardens. The dining rooms and terrace are magnificent! Breakfast buffet is of the highest quality! Restaurant is Michelin quality! Parking is easy on site! Pool and gardens are nearly perfect! Tuesday and Thursday evenings there was music at the garden bar which was delightful. I would definitely stay here again! Concierge recommended a restaurant for lunch in Chateauneuf du Pape on our drive to Lyon that was the last element of a perfect week in Aix!

We stopped for one night in Aix en Provence before flying home from Marseille and were surprised to find the hotel had upgraded us to a Junior Suite. Parking was easy and abundant. Beautiful gardens. The restaurant in the hotel was fully booked for dinner but they were able to serve us in the bar area off the regular menu. Friendly staff. Hope to return some day.
