Really good location and a nice modern apartment which was great for a short break. We had a 3 month old on her first holiday and the staff were all very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Even though our room looked out on to a street, it was a very quiet area but just a short walk away from a supermarket and the main street.

This is a great Adagio. In a quiet area, but easy walk into the old town, including the markets. A Casino supermarket very close by, there was also a great Vietnamese place near Casino. All staff encountered were friendly, check in a breeze including access to the carpark. Now the carpark drive way is a bit tight and a large SUV would struggle. We had a station wagon and it was a bit of a team effort with passengers to navigate the tight turns. Room was typically Adagio, a bit tight for 4 people, but a small balcony and a view made up the tightness...

The hotel offers apartments with kitchenettes, very handy when travelling en famille, especially as there is a supermarket around the corner. While very small, the rooms were new, clean and sufficiently comfortable. The great benefit of this hotel however is that it has parking, usually a drama with many hotels in good locations - although be sure to book a car space in advance. The front desk staff were friendly and more than happy to meet our requests.

Really lovely rooms with great storage solutions - even though there isn't masses of space they have thought of everything (pull out tables, beds etc) Very modern, well designed rooms that had everything we needed. Staff were really lovely and always helpful for anything we needed. Beds very comfy and windows were great at blocking out the noise! Was also lovely to have breakfast on the balcony in the mornings. Would definitely recommend and will visit again soon!

The location in Aix was great but the room was too small for a family of 4 with luggage. Also the room was too hot at night in mid winter. The staff were helpful and friendly. The car park was very difficult to access with a family sized car.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this apartment hotel. We had booked for 2 nights in September. The room was clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed,and large bathroom with a clothesline over the bath. Location is very convenient, is only a few minutes walk to Cours Mirabeau. For a studio apartment the room was surprisingly well equipped. The small kitchen facilities had everything needed to cook with (including a dishwasher). We had the breakfast one morning and thought the price was very reasonable at 11Euros. The car park was fairly tight to negotiate as others have mentioned. Staff were all very friendly, and we would certainly return next time in Aix

I stayed for two weeks at this hotel. The studio was satisfying: mundane but functional furniture and a kitchenette with all that was needed to prepare simple meals. Not happy with the bed however, which actually was a bed sofa. Very hard, as you often experience in Southern Europe. The location is good - a few minutes walk to the historical city center, and at a small side road - central but very quiet. The hotel breakfast is very simple and I would only recommend it if you arrive late and don't have time to fill up the fridge in your room. There are not a whole lot of other services available at the hotel that I could see, but I didn't need it either. The price is fair. Bottom line, I'd be happy to return.

We had a lovely time in Aix, upon arrival the staff was super friendly and nice, so do not be put off by a locked front door, it's for your security and has a buzzer. Our apartment was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. The location is great and close to downtown and all the shops, restaurants, bars and bus/train station. There also is a grocery store 5 minutes walk, which has great food choices and is very affordable. We loved this place and will try and stay at another hotel like that in Europe for sure (Adagio you are the best). There is underground parking right at the hotel.

My wife and I loved our stay at the Adagio - the suite was spacious, clean and fully stocked. It was so convenient to have a little kitchen equipped with dishes, a kettle, and a fridge for our week in Aix. Staff, like everyone we met in Aix, were very friendly and kind. The hotel is in an amazing location and was so close to city-centre! We used parking for two nights and as other reviews have mentioned, the spiral down to the parking garage was quite tight so be prepared for that! Would definitely stay the next time we come to Aix!

Stayed 1 month in the Adagio Aix. Have also stayed in their Bercy Village property in Paris. Very good staff. Very clean. Very good location. Our room was a studio w/a Murphy style bed, which we never put up. It’s a tight squeeze on one side to access the bed on the closet side but otherwise we were comfortable. Our room faced the courtyard so was cooler and also had 2 glass doors to the small balcony on the 3rd floor. Had their continental breakfast 3 mornings while there. Coffee was 2E after morning. Main issue that negatively affected 1week of our stay was the “no” smoking policy. While smoking isn’t allowed in rooms, it is allowed on balconies. The guests below us smoked into the early hours waking us with smoke filling our room. We couldn’t breathe. One night @ 3 am we were offered another room on main floor to sleep for a few hours. Reminds me of no smoking rows on the airlines years ago. I understand the smoking culture of other countries, just don’t want to share the drug in a room I am paying for. Suggest management make a smoking wing or provide a smoking room which seals off the toxins from others. Most guests had issues with the furniture and closets sliding that made noise when moved due to no pads on the legs of the furniture on the wood floor. If not for smoke would stay again.
