My room had no window that would open, but the HVAC was inadequate and verrrrry slow to respond. The TV would not turn on, and the shower in my colleague's room would not drain well, so he had to stand in water to use the shower. At 9 pm, I called guest services to see if there was something I needed to do to enable the HVAC and was told that it takes some time, the maintenance person had left for the day, and there was no one who could assist me.

The state was mediocre this hotel needs an update with the furniture and even the phone message because it said they had a social hour every day and when I called they said they don’t have it. They have a wonderful staff though.

Whenever I stay in the DC area, this is the hotel I choose and I have never had a bad experience. The location is safe and very convenient for every place I need to go. The rooms at extremely clean and the food is hot and fresh. The best part of my experience is always the staff!!! They are extremely pleasant and professional and always accommodate my needs. They go out of their way to make my experience better than the last, which is quite refreshing!!! I always choose the his hotel for my stay and I highly recommend it!

Good sized room that was well kitted out with microwave, dishwasher, separate sofa and dining area. Rwally good breakfast including breakfast burritos , friendly service and about 20 mins walk from all the major sights. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

To be honest, I was disappointed by my stay at Hilton this time around. When I first checked in, there was a half eaten cake in the freezer left behind by whoever previously stayed in the room. I let the front desk know that same evening and asked if housekeeping can pass by the next day to clean up what was left behind, but they did not. The room was cleaned, but the cake was still in the fridge. We were barely able to sleep that first night because the AC would not cool down below 75 degrees, maintenance came the next day and claimed to "fix it". We were not in our room the whole day and when we returned it was still 75 degrees. The front desk was able to change our room late at night. On our last night there we returned to our room around 10 PM and weren't able to get into the room because the lock to the door was dead. This is unacceptable.

Honestly the breakfast was horrible, the valet was rude when we arrived ( he actually hollered at us) The one that was there when we left was super kind. The front desk was kind but our first room wasn't clean so we had to move to another room then the door knob on the second door was not on correctly. Hopefully they fix that. The only thing we liked about the hotel was the bed and front desk. We won't be staying again.
