Interesting stay

Upon arrival we were givin room 419. Went up to room and keys didn’t work. Went back down got new keys okay great, walk in the room there is a broken desk chair in the middle of the bathroom, the sheets had yellow stuff all over one bed, which I bring my own pillows and blankets so not that huge of an issue, I go back down immediately to let them know about the chair so I don’t get charged for it and she says OMG I’m so sorry I forgot it was in there. Cool no biggie just don’t put it on my bill. Go back up to finally shower and go to turn on AC….. broke! Had to move rooms. Then we get back in the evening and ready to sit and hang out by little fireplace in the back before going to bed and what do ya know. That’s broke too! The poor girls at the front desk were so sweet and helped when could but a lot they didn’t have an answer to cause THEY didn’t know! Lobby is nice and rooms are nice once you get to a good one lol!

I didn't use the facilities, so I didn't rate them. The property's condition was good, however. The area around the property was decent. The cleaning staff did not do a good job on the cleanliness rating. The first room I received a key for was well below what I had expected. The bed was made, but the sheets were wrinkled, and it was evident that the sheets had not been changed. The bathroom had not been tended to either. The wash towels looked used and were in disarray. I took the key back down to the attendant, and he apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a key for a different room that was clean. The attendant was very cordial, and I wish I could remember his name. He deserves to be mentioned as an asset to Best Western Plus in Ruston.

No coffee, no towels, wouldn’t let us check in early at all. Breakfast they ran out of juice. There were no plates. Trash was overflowing. Lots of staff standing around and talking and not doing anything.

Horrible Hotel and Filed a Complaint

We didn't complete our stay. The toilet didn't work. The TV didn't work. When we tried to complain we were met with rudeness. The front desk person asked us to leave. We didn't yell, didn't scream. We were not ugly in any way but I asked foe a manager twice and she refused to call anyone. She initially refused to refund our money but we saw a reversal on my account.
