So I stayed here on an extended stay and the staff were great. Amira, Carley, Shay, Hannah, Kaci, Ami, Heather, Alexis, Morgan, Kayleen, Sam were all extremely friendly and helpful. I never had a request of a problem that they were not capable of handling. Being from out of town they provided the comfort of home with ample southern hospitality. I would recommend staying here. The grounds and location were convenient to food and gyms. Great Staff. Thanks for everything each of you did to make my stay as easy as possible.

The time I spent at the bar was pleasant and warm. I appreciate the well made drinks and the food was awesome. I would recommend that you spend some down time there. When you think of relaxation, keep them in mind. Thanks Hannah!

Had a great time tonight at the bar. Hannah was very courteous and fast as our waitress. Morgan was our bartender and she made the Peach Festival Martini. The martini was very good! I definitely recommend this place and these girls!

I really had high expectations for the Courtyard in Ruston since it's a newer property but the property/ general manager is HORRIBLE. I asked to speak with her time and time again but she would not leave her office. I felt like the girls at the front desk were her middle man. I could see the frustration in those girls eyes. I felt sorry for Carley and Kaylen whom handled it very professionally. I hope Marriotts home office will see this and find a new manager who can handle that position. With that being said..... don't stay there excepting quality management, you will not find it at this hotel. By the way, their rooms were not ready either at 3pm, had to wait an extra 2 hours. Poor Management☹️

Bistro bar staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are great!!!! Hannah, Jasmin, and Morgan are very knowledgeable staff members and very accommodating. Hotel is great. The Bistro makes the hotel.

Being a long time road warrior I’ve observed there are basically two different category of travelers; those on vacation, and everybody else. If your are on a vacation traveling the wide expanse of I-20 this place is ACES! Totally gets a 5. 1st great staff. (I wish I could name them all but Carley, Aimee, James and Sherri come to mind.) 2nd nice property - Bring the KIDS to enjoy the POOL and great burgers. There is a Chick-Fil-A and Rotolo’s (a craft beer and pizza joint) just a couple of hundred yards away. Adults will enjoy the cozy fire pit area and very well prepared cocktails. If you are the “everybody else”, (travel for a living or something other than pleasure) especially if you are like me and stay primarily in Marriotts, this place comes in at a solid 4. Everybody knows the last 20% is the hardest to achieve, so I’ll share my thoughts on what would change my opinion: #1 Include COFFEE with breakfast when the breakfast is included in the room rate. (BTW - the coffee in the rooms is terrible and you only provide one serving.) It’s ridiculous that you choose to take this hit to your customer satisfaction when it could be so easily solved. #2 The towels suck and you don’t provide enough of them. My wife and I were provided with only two towels and they were so thin it took two to dry off. Completely avoidable. I’m not asking for better just more of the lousy ones would be an improvement. OK, that’s all I’ve got. Hand’s down the best place in Ruston to stay. My complaints are nits in the grand scheme. Happy traveling.

I do not give many 5’s for hotel stays since most are based off customer service and how well people treat you. This being said I am giving a 5 because of CARLEY!!!! She greeted me with a smile and very glad I chose Courtyard over other places in town. She made my stay much more pleasant I assure you. Her only downfall is she likes a team that has a kitten mascot that’s down the Don’t hold it against her she is a huge LSU fanatic! Oh by the way the beds are comfortable and hotel is in a great location. Thanks again Carley and Country Boy will be In the yard again!!

The hotel is very clean and amenities are up to date. The hotel staff were very professional and accommodating to my requests during my stay. I travel a lot for business and Carley stood out as being one of the best I have met in my travels. Conveniently located off the interstate with plenty of dining options.

So I normally love Courtyards, but this was by far the worst experience. I will never stay here again. I booked a king room and was told when I got there that they would have to give me a double queen due to not having the king room cleaned in time (I checked in after 10:30 pm). At check in I stood in an empty lobby for 5 minutes only 5-6 feet from two desk workers who never acknowledged me or greeted me. They did look at me, but never said a word. When I noted how rude this was, especially about the room change, one woman just stood and smirked at me. Not going back ever again. PS it's got to be a really bad stay for me to write negative as most of reviews are highly constructive. I have nothing constructive to say due to the rude and bad experience.

Excellent, friendly service from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. Southern hospitality and smiles cannot be beat. Clean, fresh, and well maintained. Small bistro and bar onsite to take care of early or late snack attack or a night cap.
