We asked for a quiet room and received one away from I20 traffic noise so we weren't bothered by it. Comfortable room with a large bathroom but no magnifying make-up mirror. Staff were nice, the breakfast options included fresh melon and not just the usual apples and bananas. Tricky to get to the hotel; you need to follow the directions or your GPS carefully because the left turn on Roberta really is "immediate". It is pet-friendly, and other pet-owners seemed considerate. I would stay there again.

The front desk person couldn’t have been more helpful. We had no reservations, and she found exactly what we needed at a lower rate than expected. The room was comfortable (beds included), good lighting in the bathroom, and our room was very quiet. Would stay there again.

Our bed was not comfortable, and our pillows were very flat. Also, not comfortable. It was very loud in the hotel most of the time. But my worst complaint is that upon using the side door to exit/enter, there were always people there smoking, including hotel employees! This is unacceptable. Don't advertise that your hotel is smoke free, and then I have to deal with people smoking every time I leave/return to the hotel. Also, our room was on the same side as the main entrance of the hotel, room 212, and music is turned on between 7 - 7:30 every morning. Well that music blared right into our room, also not a nice thing to deal with when you're on a weekend getaway and you are trying to sleep in a little. Both mornings we were awakened by this and we did not appreciate it. I did ask for a manager more than once at the desk, and was told the manager wasn't available. Not sure we will return to this hotel which is very disappointing, because Fairfields are usually nicer than this.

A great halfway point between the Authentic Bonnie & Clyde Museum and Duck Commander. The staff all did very well. Front desk clerk was very friendly and recommended a great local place to eat when asked. The breakfast stayed well-stocked through the morning the coffee was hot and fresh. Room was excellent. Clean, well maintained. When we come through this area again, we will most certainly stay here.

Just became aware they take dogs. Dog on our floor barked a lot, especially as the elevator opened, or guests walked down hallway. May be beneficial to have a certain pet section in hotel so those that enjoy quiet can be in another section. First Fairfield i’ve Visited where the don’t have the delicious citrus water or ant cold water somewhere by the desk/entrance. It’s nice to have when arriving on a hot day. No cookies either. Rooms were nice.

With our son is college at Louisiana Tech University, it was his graduation weekend. The staff were very friendly, even though they were very busy due to the amount of guests in town for graduation. Morgan, at the front desk was very accommodating with our room requests. Her professionalism was impeccable! Anyone who will be staying in Ruston should choose this hotel! Our son was there for 4 years and it was the only hotel we stayed at for a reason, the excellent staff and comfort of the rooms.

Another property in Ruston cancelled our reservation with no notice and we ended up staying here at the Fairfield. What a pleasant surprise. It was nicely updated, clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up getting an upgrade. They even had a nice happy hour the evening we stayed with food and drink and fresh baked cookies. And the breakfast was great the next morning. We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in Ruston.

My stay at the Marriot in Ruston was great. The clerk at the front, Nicholas, was super helpful and he did his best to make sure my fiance and I were comfortable all weekend. I definitely recommend talking to Nick to set up your next stay.

I travel a ton for work and stay all over the place, nick at the front desk is by far been one of the nicest, and most helpful hotel people ive ever had to deal with. we needed 4 rooms and were staying here for a 3-4 weeks he upgraded all of us into suites so we would be more comfortable. and every time we come in hes here to greet us with a smile! great guy, good help is hard to find!

This was a stop on our way to Mississippi but we couldn't make it to Monroe. Great hotel. Good Location. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again. Hotel was clean and kept up nicely. We stayed in the King Suite with couch.
