I was unable to stay at this hotel due to cleaning issues and bugs. The sheets were stained, along with the box spring, wasn't sure if it was feces or blood. Not getting close enough to find out once I turned down covers. Then I had not just an Earwig bug crawl from under my pillow,but also a centipede. I had to take photos of this just to show how dirty this place had become. Will post if it allows. These are just a few.

I stayed at DArbonne Lake Motel this weekend and found it an enjoyable experience. The cost is inexpensive, so one should not expect a luxery motel. Staff is courteous, bed was comfortable; I would stay there again.

Set next to a beautiful lake you would expect more than run down rooms with dim light lights (so you don't see the dirt), nothing but a deadbolt for protection (if it works, I had to switch rooms because the first one did not work). There is no clock or phone standard in the room which really shocked me. If you have no cell phone you better not need to call anyone or especially 911. One of the first told me that you have to ask the front desk for a phone which I repeated to her and she promptly told me that she did not have anymore phones. I said OK but you did not tell me that I had to all for one to which she replied that half of the phone do not work. WI-FI is free IF you can get on it. I ask how but guess what, she said she didn't know how it worked, she just knew it was wireless.
