Everything was quite clean and in good repair—especially for an older home. The decor is charming and comfortable. The amenities were abundant. The host was communicative and pleasant. If we have occasion to stay two or more nights in Roseburg again, we would hope this property is available then!

My 1 year old was crawling all over the place so she was the ultimate clean test.. :) Very clean! Gary was amazing! Super quick responses when necessary and just very easy to work with. The house is SO cozy and was perfect for my family! My 12 year old loved it so much she asked if we could buy it We would definitely stay here again! 10/10

There were no regular TV channels with news and no current sports events!!! Streaming is not what we expect!Very difficult to regulate heat throughout the house. Bathroom sink was hardly draining! Dusty items found in most rooms.

Nice little rambler house in older neighborhood. There is only one bathroom for three bedrooms, so this can be an issue if more than one or two people are trying to wait for the toilet or shower. The drain in the bathroom sink was extremely slow, make sure its clean before the next person needs to use it. Also, only one of the three bedrooms has aircondition or heat, we stayed there in late summer and it was too hot at night in the two rooms with only a celing fan, even with the windows open at night. Like i said, if only one person or a couple is using the main bedrooom with air/heat and are ok sharing the bathroom this will work fine, but if you are using all three bedrooms then just be aware there is no air/heat in two rooms or the bathroom and only one toilet/shower.

Very Comfortable

This property was exactly as what was listed and we really enjoyed our stay! Great spot close to a park and splash pad for the kids and not far from Wildlife Safari! The beds were very comfortable and the everything was very clean. We'd come again!! Just note that there is not a DVD player but the TV has availability for logging in for any of your personal streaming services.

Quaint home for a nice trip

My husband and I along with our two young kids rented this house to visit my mom for Mother’s Day outside of town. Located on a quiet block, the house was very clean and seemed well taken care of. While we didn’t use the kitchen for all of our meals, it did have what we needed (salt, pepper, I also noticed some other seasonings). My husband prefers French press coffee so we brought our own, but there was coffee and tea provided, including some Keurig cups. The house had cooking utensils and cookware for the meals we did cook, and the fridge had ice trays that were full along with a Brita water pitcher. The beds were comfortable, and I really liked the support the pillows gave my neck. I saw there were some spare blankets, though they weren’t needed.The backyard was nicely kept, and the flowers were blooming so it was extra lovely!The host was very responsive and welcoming in our communications. Thankfully, we did not encounter any issues during our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our time there and would consider staying again.

Great week in Roseburg

The Berd Haus was just right for our week-long stay in Roseburg. Comfortable and clean, it was well appointed and located in a quiet neighborhood. The memory foam mattresses were one of the best features and we slept better than we ever have in unfamiliar beds. Gary was great at communicating with us, always quick to respond to our messages. We will definitely keep the Berd Haus on our short list.

Summer Vacation!

For our summer vacation this year, we decided to visit southern Oregon and found this wonderful home in Roseburg. It was absolutely perfect for our family. The home was centrally located between Crater Lake and the Oregon Coast which were our planned visits this summer. About two hours to the coast, and two hours to Crater Lake. A win win for sure. Rather than making the long trek down in one day from the Southwest Washington/Portland area, we decided to find a nice place in Roseburg. Gary (our contact) was wonderful to work with. He checked in during our stay, and was gracious in shipping my daughter's eye glasses back which she had left there by mistake. The home is very nice, has modern appliances, and the rooms/beds are comfortable. Another bonus is the home has AC which was HUGE as the area was hit with a doozy of a heatwave the week we were there. Do yourself and your family a favor and book this house... we were glad we did!

Quick Baseball Getaway

My daughter & I were in town a couple short days for my son’s NWAC tournament. So glad I opted for a VRBO versus hotel. Couldn’t have loved this home more. Perfect size for what we needed, the AC a welcome addition. We even used the laundry after being in the sun at the local baseball field all day. Communication from Gary was fast & he answered a couple questions we had. We even visited the animal safari (highly recommend if you have time). Thank you again!!

Everything was nice and clean and in working order. The house was perfect for us, (3 adults) only thing is one adult had to sleep in a twin bed but it worked. Gary was very attentive to all of our needs. I would stay here again and recommend it highly.
