Trianon Borgo Pio

Excellent location, helpful staff, amazing check out experience.

We really enjoyed our stay with our family of four in a two bedroom unit. The kitchen was nice. Free breakfast was nice. Our only suggestion for improvement is to add more hooks for hanging towels. A unit that can sleep 6 should also have hooks or racks for 6 towels.

clean hotel and spacious. near restaurant and walking distance to Vatican.

The Trianon Borgo Pio was great! First and foremost early check in was a huge plus! We were able to get to the residence and check right in! At first you feel like you're kind of going down an alley way... and there is a courtyard across the street that does atract kids drinking at night and homeless people sleeping at night. But neither gave us any trouble. The staff here was amazing. Very friendly and helpful! We were given a map of Rome (very helpful) and the woman that owns the place had no problem giving us recommendations of restaurants or anything else we asked from a pure Roman's perspective. She wouldn't just send us to the touristy places which was a nice change. The rooms were great, they were big had a small kitchen, a separate bedroom and a bathroom. Everything was clean and all the things you needed were there in the kitchen for use. The only compalint would be the wi-fi was a little in and out and you had to constantly log into it. But we were not in the room all that often where it bothered us. You're about a 5 minute walk from Vatican City which was really nice. Everything else is a little bit of a walk...but once you find your path you can find loads of things to see along your way to the other side of town were the big ticket items are.

This was my first trip to Rome, picked a Hotel that was close to Vatican City this one worked out perfect. Just a couple of blocks away from the bus tours. Nice clean secure rooms and friendly staff.

This was a great last minute find. The staff was very friendly/helpful and they were able to book a car for our ride to the airport. The location was perfect as we did tour the Vatican one of the days we were there. Some attractions were walking distance and others we used bus service. Many inexpensive places to eat right around the corner, However, the area is very touristy. We used our kitchenette daily for breakfast and it was adequate. The bed in the bedroom was great but the bed/sofa in the sitting area wasn't very comfortable. We found it to be spacious and liveable for the five nights we were there, great value and would definitely stay again.

We rented a 2-bedroom apartment with a complete kitchen. It was very nice and clean. One room had a queen size bed and the other had 2 sofa beds. Everything was very clean and nice. Lory was very helpful. The common guest area was comfortable with internet and a coffee machine.

We had 2 large bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen. Restaurants, bakeries, groceries were all within close walking distance. We were about a 5-10min walk from a subway stop. There is a room in the hotel with internet machines and an exercise room. Very convenient. Would definitely stay there again. While the location is west of the Tiber River (and not in the heart of Rome), you cannot beat the comfort of the "apartment" we had. The lady at the front desk ([...]?) was very helpful and attentive.

This Hotel has the BEST location for pretty much everything. The Borgo area is prime location and the Hotel and staff were wonderful. Great for families with children, couples etc.....just great I would recommend to all. There isn't a breakfast included BUT.. little places all around. I would stay there again and again and tell everyone about it. Fabulous !

Lo que más me gusto de este hotel es su ambiente, su ubicación y el personal. Muy satisfecha con sus servicios, definitivamente lo recomiendo mucho y sin duda me hospedaría de nuevo.

Thank you very much for the excellent review and your kind suggestion regarding more hooks in the room. We hope to see you soon on the next time here with us, with family and friends reserving our biggest apartments available. Best regards, Fabio L
