The host, Ovidio is a very trusting host. I then trusted him with my. charge card for an accidentally unpaid charge. It went perfect and he knows I really am an honest person. Thank you for excellent service. I return to Roma in September. See you then , FOR SURE.

This is in a great location walkable to just about everything. The host was really good. He knows all the places to go and how to get there. Great guy. The only adverse comment is the shower! We were in room 3 and the shower is minuscule, seriously. Plus the door didn’t seal and the floor was awash every day. Had to mop it up with towels. Other than that no complaints.

A lovely guesthouse for a stay in Rome if you don't want to be in the city centre. Still plenty of places to eat nearby (recommendations provided upon check-in) and convenient public transport available. Elevator on site which is a blessing for travellers with large bags!

Great budget choice close to the Vatican and a reasonable walk to all the major sites. Staff is very nice. Entrance and room have that authentic Italian charm. Some tasty and reasonably priced food options a block away, and the train is a pleasant walk too.

The breakfast is suck. Serve you cold coffee. Look like coffee keep in fridge and just warm it up in the hot plate,its so dark and cold .Only bread and jam serve no egg.I won't recommend to any this hotel.

Great place if you get the right room

Everything was decent except for the it was narrow a bit dungeon-like, as the window was directed inside of the building making it super dark. I have seen other rooms and they were very nice, spacious and with lots of day light, so DO stayin Marta's Guest House but make sure you don't get the darkroom. The staff was really pleasant and helpful.

Nice for a few days in rome

Good for the price, easy to get to most tourist spots. Only thing is they asked that the air conditioning not be turned below 25 degrees or the power would cut out so room was a bit warm for us.

Marta Guest House

Very nice hotel near Vatican. Room was spacious and clean. The air conditioner worked well - a little too well one night. I would have liked more choices for breakfast since there was only yogurt and toast with juice or coffee. The staff was very helpful. I would stay here again.
