The refrigerator and the air conditioner did not work in the room, thankfully we were able to get another room. Breakfast was good but the attendant had a very strong body odor, it was unbearable.The hotel was in good condition but it is very simple.

The food at the time did not seem fresh. But they have an awesome sitting area. Just in front of the hotel was plenty of seats and table. Only problem was few mosquitoes can spoil the fun and cause an early night.

Hotel further away from Rome centre than expected.

Hotel adequate for our needs. But our room was on front of hotel which was on a busy road. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean. Breakfast - buffet style.

Beautiful Hotel with Great Staff

The Hotel Victor is a beautiful hotel, small and personable. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. We had a problem with a rental car and the staff made several phone calls for us and solved our problem. The hotel is in a lovely area with several small restaurants, gelato bars, small shops and shopping within walking distance (about 5 minutes). We also needed an early morning ride to the airport and again, the staff came through with the driver arriving early to accommodate us. The breakfast was the best we were served in the month we spent in Italy. Our only disappointment was the shuttle bus The cost of the shuttle is E$10 although our booking site had it listed as a free shuttle. We would definitely stay at Hotel Victor again and recommend it to our friends.

Terrible hotel

This hotel looked Ok on the Internet, and surprisingly had a few fairly positive reviews. However, our experience was awful as the hotel was very basic and did not include some vital service they promised on the Internet (e.g. the air conditioner was broken, etc.). The breakfast was also very basic and totally disappointing. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bad location, but otherwise great!

Hotel Victor is a fine enough place to stay if you don’t mind the fact that it’s in a quite inconvenient location (it takes almost an hour) to get into the city (15-20 minutes to wait for the hotel car and drive to the metro, 15-20 min to wait for the train and get into the city). While the hotel will take you to the metro for free, you have to book the car at least 3 hours in advance,and it only starts at 8:30am and won’t pick you back up from the station (you have to take the 765? bus right next to the metro station, which was nerve-wracking at first, because we didn’t know which stop to get off at). Also, they charge you 20 euros to be picked up from Fiumicino airport (one way). Overall, the hotel is quite beautiful and good quality for the price though. It is very clean and secure, and the free breakfast is great! The staff were nice and helpful.

Pleasant Relaxing Time

Beautiful garden grounds in this clean, updated and comfortable hotel. It allows easy access to all of Rome's great site seeing locations and the staff is great with most speaking very good English. Has two negatives. 1) We wanted to use their free shuttle service from Fiumicino airport and they couldn't oblige. We had to pay for a 60 euro cab ride instead. On the way home they were able to drive us. Also one of their cleaning staff had such a bad attitude that we always knew she cleaned our room. Soiled sheets, no refill of soap, shower gel, missing plastic bags in the trash bins, pillows and sheets also were not changed at least twice. We did have Lukewarm water in the shower one day but this was repaired quickly. Overall super hotel and very enjoyable stay. I will come back there again.

Italian village feel

Our first 2 nights in Rome were near The Vatican, loud and bustling with constant police sirens. Our last 2 nights we decided to stay near the Ciampino Airport in an area which was a quieter, non-touristy feel unlike in Rome. This hotel was nice, up to date looking and offered free shuttles to the metro, Coliseum and Ciampino Airport which was very convenient. We also loved the little pizzeria (much cheaper prices than in the city) a couple of blocks down the street next to the gelateria on the right hand side and I recommend you try the Capriciosa pizza with a Peroni beer. Would stay there again for sure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle driver loved to explain what we were looking at while traveling to our destination.

Hotel Victor good for a night or two

The hotel was ok, it was nice to have free parking and sorta wifi. (had to go to a common area)the free breakfast in the morning was ok too. The room was good for a family of four. It is too far out for most attractions, but relatively close to the Appian Way. The garden area was nice.

Hotel victor July 2012

Didnt get an email back about getting picked up from the airport, so arrived and had to find our own way there. Cost us more than the nights accommadation at the hotel. Hotel is in a cute little town. Great to see that side of Italy before heading into Rome. Room was nice, little, staff speak a little English. Got a free shuttle to the train station to catch into the city. Overall I would stay again as long as we got a transfer organized.

Clean, friendly hotel in quiet location

A really comfortable, spotlessly clean, hotel with exceptionally friendly, helpful staff - the only drawback being the distance from the centre of Rome (although for us it was a blessing in disguise and relief from the hassle of the tourist trap in central Rome during daytime!). Excellent value for money. The hotel is located in a residential area in the outskirts - only a couple of ice-cream parlours and pizzerias nearby (although there is a large supermarket at the crossroads at the end of the road). Travel into Rome by 765 bus at nearby stop (on the right hand side of the road) or 765 or 663 at the second stop (a bit further down Annia Regilla) to Ananigna and then metro A - or by 118 to the Pyramide (and then metro B). Tickets (1 Euro single) travel time from 40-60 mins depending on connections. Tickets and travel advice from the reception - English rather limited but very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast in basement from 07.00 - 10.00 - incl. fruit juice, muesli, corn-flakes, fruit, buns, toast, cheese, cold meats, coffee etc.

We arrived at hotel at 5.30 pm - room wasn't ready The room allocated was in basement next to kitchen and toilet and restaurant so very smelly They cleaned room and toilet and kitchen floor with bleach and disinfactant so the smell was there all night In the room the sink started leaking with water on floor - we could not use toilet - we asked to be moved - they just gave us towels to put on floor Horrid breakfast all ready made food - toasts biscuits etc all in wrapper only croissants fresh. There was fresh fruit in a basket but qutte possibly a week old and rotten - my wife had to take it out for them to throw Coffee at breakfast was from wending machine - horrid of course We asked to be moved - receptionist told us no rooms as a big party was coming - but next day a large amount of people left in coach another receptionist told us that lots of rooms were free and moved us upstairs on first floor We will not stay there again nor will we reccomend

Hotelli sijaitsee vähän kaukana keskustasta (päärautatieasemalta tulee ottaa ensin metro, ja sitten bussi joka kestää vielä 20min), mutta ensimmäisen päivän haahuilun jälkeen liikkumisen jo osasi. Aamupala oli sinänsä aika köykäinen, tarjolla oli ehkä suomalaiseen makuun puuttellisesti syötävää ja varsinkin keliaakikolle syötävät oli rajattuja. Gluteenittomia keksejä oli kyllä varattu, mistä plussaa.

Беспроводной интернет каждые пять минут пропадал, но в холле был компьютер с интернетом, которым разрешали пользоваться бесплатно.Бесплатных великов в прокате не хватило, видно их сильно меньше, чем гостей в отеле. Фен в ванной весь липкий, пыльный и едва работает. Поддон в душевой кабине старый, дверка плохо закрывается. Номер на одного довольно тесный, жуткий интенсивный запах порошка или еще какого-то ароматизатора от постельного белья, матрас жесткий. В номере все стены ободраны и в росчерках, всё пора давно покрасить. Отель 2-х этажный, если номера (на любом этаже) на парковку - спать не возможно: постоянный шум до 2 ночи и с 6 утра. В номере слышны разговоры в холле отеля. Расположение отеля удобно только для тех, кто на своей машине или никуда не спешит. На автобусе до метро хоть и ехать 15 минут, но ждать автобуса можно и 40 минут и час. С учетом метро и ожидания автобуса уходит в среднем около 70-80 минут чтобы доехать до центра Рима. В автобусе остановки не объявляются и нигде нет схемы, так что на какой выходить надо угадать самому. Автобус останавливается только на остановках, но только по требованию заранее: не угадал где тебе выходить, не нажал кнопку заранее - едешь дальше. Рядом с отелем аэропорт, потому слышен гул пролетающих низко самолетов. Единственное, что понравилось в отеле - персонал и завтрак - шведский стол.
