Beautiful place...I felt like I was in a movie everyday. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious. Perfect location. Walked everywhere. Safe. Excellent restaurants close by. Subway station a few blocks away.
Central to all locations, great staff, nearby restaurants, very safe!!!!
Friendly staff, nice location With shops and restaurants in walking distance. Old world charm
We stayed just overnight but certainly will be back to Rome and will stay at this hotel!
this was the loveliest experience of my life and I can't wait to return.
First off, I would like to say that the hotel is decent. It's not dirty and is close to the Metro stop. It has a nice rooftop where you can have drinks in the evening but that's really about it. Also, please note that it is located around a lot of restaurants that are tourist traps and the breakfast is overpriced. So you judge if the price per night justifies what you are getting. However, the reason for my review is because we paid an extra 22 Euros in false charges and I have called them and emailed them about this and they just ignore it. Or say that accounting is not available right now. They are on vacation. Seriously, for how many days are the on vacation? It has been 5 weeks since we checked out and the false charges were for the following: 7 Euros for a bottle of water in the Mini Bar (which we did not take because we made sure to carry our own water bottles since I think 7 Euros for water is outrageous and 15 Euros for a drink at the bar - again, as an Expedia/Orbitz Platinum member we had the drink coupons and anything above and beyond we paid cash for. Nothing was billed to the room to keep our accounts simple.) So 22 Euros is really not a lot of money but no one likes to be wrongfully charged and treated poorly when you tell them to correct this. This is the very first bad review I have written ever because I do not like leaving bad reviews. However, this is no way to treat customers who have dropped over 1000 Euros during their stay.
We will go back to this hotel primarily because the staff made the stay to great. The hotel is nicely located one block from the metro and a very short walk to the Spanish Steps, and is on Via Veneto, a clean, quieter, upscale street with many outdoor restaurants.
This Hotel is on a great location and its very nice decorated and offers excellent service.
Good value hotel on a great street, the morning staff were prretty good but the afternoon/evening staff at concierge and front desk would not go out of there way and threw up their hands a lot
Hotel Majestic provided the ambiance for our romantic 30 year anniversary. The lobby is Majestic in itself touching the senses with the aroma of fresh cut lilacs, the vision of white marble, brass and wood combination. High radius edge coffered ceilings and the softness of beautifully designed padded wool area rugs on the floor. The antique furniture and drapery is the final tie which complements the experience. Upon arrival we were greeted as though we were royalty, one doorman assisted my bride and I from the vehicle as another removed our luggage. The reception desk greeted us by our sir name expedited the paperwork and escorted us to our room. All amenities and a few local travel tips were carefully explained and an actual key decorated with a tassel was handed to us. Each time of ingress and egress you drop the key off at the reception desk. As though it was timed the bellman (before the door closed) delivered our luggage and strategically placed it paving the way for easy unpacking. Although there were no screens on the windows (which I was okay with, my bride didn’t like it) the room and bathroom suited our needs and roomy enough where we were not bumping into each other every time you turn around. That being said…the hotel like a house, is only a box with more boxes inside! It’s the people that make it Home. All I’m going to say about the staff at Hotel Majestic is… we tiered up when we parted from or new friends. Bounlavoro! Arrivederci …
Very nice older classic hotel. Well maintained. Stayed in junior suite on second floor. (all a single bedroom/living area). Nightclub noise (1st floor in hotel) on Saturday was very loud until about 1 AM. No carpets on wood floors means you hear the people upstairs if they wear shoes with heels. (Partially my fault - could have requested a room move but just did not want to pack and unpack again after trip from US) Staff very friendly and helpful arranging tours etc. Location is good for shopping and restaurants - Metro system is very close.
