My partner and I felt very welcomed from the moment we checked in. The staff were always greeting us with a smile. Breakfast was a tight squeeze but the food was great. The hotel wasn't too far from the colosseum and we walked all over Rome from the hotel. I highly recommend staying here as the rooms were clean and the area very safe.

Spent two nights here with my sister at the start of a 10-day visit to Italy. Super easy access to Termini station (which was necessary since we took the Metro to Vatican City one morning, and left Rome via train at 06:30 the next day). Also a short walk to the Colosseum and Forum to begin our sightseeing adventure. We arrived at 10:00 so of course our room was not yet ready... headed out to see some sights, and found our bags in our room upon our return. Desk staff very helpful with map & directions. Yummy breakfast! - the only time on our grand tour that we were offered eggs to start the day.

Hotel Amalfi was in a nice area of Rome. It was very loud with street noise if you left the windows open; however, when they were closed you couldn't hear anything from the outside. We never heard anyone in any of the other rooms. The lift is small; however, it works great, you just need to make extra trips if you have much luggage. Francois and his Papa, as well as the night manager were so very friendly and helpful - calling a cab for us whenever needed, suggesting places to eat, fixing a "to go" breakfast for us when we had to be at Vatican City by 7 am (and breakfast didn't begin until 7:30) The following day we had breakfast and it was delicious and quite filling. The bathroom was a bit tight, although my husband and I are not small people. The room itself was not huge, but we certainly weren't croweded. There was a nice wardrobe to hang your clothes, a desk with a hot pot and coffee/tea, a small fridge. We also had another room with a twin bed off the main room which is where we stored our luggage -- we each had 2 large suitcases and 2 carryon as we were leaving on a cruise on 10/11/17. My only complaint is that I did not find the bed very comfortable; however, I am used to a memory foam mattress, so others may not have any issues. All in all I would stay there again should we ever return to Rome. Wifi was free and worked fine. We never turned on the TV so I do not know about the reception/options in that regard.

Nice small hotel. The staf was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. In a good location (even though it is a bit off the center). Clean, comfortable. Once we had to wait for a while to have breakfast since the dining room is a bit on the small side. But we didn't wait for a long time, and on the other days we came earlier or later and it was ok.

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. It is near the main station which meant we could walk from the train. However it was a also a short 20-25 minute walk to all the tourist sights. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfasts which were included were more than adequate and the staff very friendly. I would really recommend this hotel if you want a hotel with at a good price without unnecessary frills.

Hotel spotlessly clean, service friendly, efficient and effective at all times. Lovely little touches like laying out the bedclothes across the bed when the room had been cleaned and bedding changed. Breakfast is a bit basic but everything else is great. Lovely coffee shop a couple of doors away, lovely restaurant next to that, the Basilica of St Maria Maggiore is astonishingly beautiful, but the little church hidden almost at the back of the hotel - down the side of the coffee shop, is well worth a visit, especially if the organ is being played. Hotel is superbly well placed to walk to all of the main sites but the hotel will call you a taxi if you prefer. The Hop on Hop off buses stop almost outside the front door as well.

The Amalfi hotel is well located within the termini area of Rome for all the must see sights of the city. The hotel itself is not large but more than adequate for a 5 night sight seeing tour. There are plenty of good and reasonably priced restaurants close to the hotel for dining in the evening as its a breakfast hotel only. The rooms themselves are a little on the snug size but for our needs we managed, the bathroom was also small with a tiny shower cubicle but good water power from it. The rooms were clean and tidy with good maid cleaning service carried out everyday, tea and coffee sort of replenished daily but a bit of a guess to what you got, Very good breakfast menu and always plenty to eat with excellent variety, last mention for the staff all very friendly and helpful, just a mention for the breakfast waitress, she catered well for our needs and was very delightful. In conclusion a very good middle of the road hotel at an affordable price. Ideal for visitors who are looking for good value on a medium budget and I personally would have no hesitation in staying there again

The hotel is in a very good position for walking nd train station and buses the hotel itself while small was comfortable pleasant and the staff were very polite and friendly and helpful breakfast was more continental obviously but still good if I was to say anything about the hotel it would be maybe a bar for that last drink before bed overall good place to stay and yes I would stay again however ask for a rear room if you a light sleeper front rooms are on the main road and can be very noisy

I stayed here for the fifth time. I love the place of this hotel, it is 5 minutes from Termini station, also - 15 minutes to Colosseum, you can reach the Vatican city on foot in one hour :) We were four so took the family apartment at first floor with lovely balcony. Thank you Natasha for perfect cleanliness and hospitality. The room was comfortable for us. Every morning we had fantastic breakfast - Natasha prepares the best coffee, eggs. I loved the small mozzarella, whole rye bread, natural yogurt :)My mum enjoyed the eggs with bacon and sausages, bacon and salami, croissants, blueberry cake :) The staff is awesome, helpful, polite. The hotel manager Francesco had great advice about few restaurants and we loved it:) We will come back..definately. THANK YOU FOR FANTASTIC HOLIDAYS :)

This nice little hotel was perfect for the last night of our trip to Italy. The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was delightful and very, very helpful. Our room was clean and although tiny, very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was lovely - Natalia was most helpful and made little white roses out of napkins for all the ladies - such a special touch! Charming!
