I stayed in Hotel Amalfi for 2 nights in April. The Hotel is handy to Roma Termini and is easy to find. The room was very clean and bed very comfy! The staff were very obliging. Highly recommend this hotel for a convenient stay in Rome.
I stayed for 3 nights in March and was very pleased with everything about it: the location, the staff, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, comfy bed and nice linens. Can't think of what I would want to change. Looking forward to my next visit!
We chose Amalfi hotel because of its good reviews and its proximity to the Roma Termini station. It was up to our expectations. Even though we reached there at 11:30 ,which was well before the normal check-in time, our room was ready. The check-in was done quickly by a most polite gentleman. He went through the trouble of showing us our location on a map and the interesting sites in the neighbourhood. The room was very clean but rather small specially for us who had 3 suitcases. Even though we had switched off the heater, the centralised heating in the bathroom stayed on and after some time it became hot. It was not possible to keep the windows open because our room gave on the main road which was busy and noisy. Else, there were tea and coffee supplies as well as a kettle in the room. Overall, we were happy with our stay as we felt safe and Amalfi hotel was staffed by respectable people!
All perfect, very good breakfast; kettle, cups and tea at rooms. Friendly and helpful stuff. Clean rooms and very good location near Maria Maggiore basilica. There some cheap and great places to eat nearbly.
Good location at a walking distance of many places of interest. Friendly staff. Nice rooms, not very big but clean and comfortable. Mini markets, gelaterias and pizzerias next to the hotel. Free wifi. Soft towels.
My room was smallish but enough for me. Location is good, because I could walk everywhere (10min to Termini station, 10-15min to Colosseum, 30min to Trevi fountain and one hour to Vatican). The road next to hotel is not too loud or busy so I slept well at nights. I received a map when I checked in and the hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel has an elevator if you prefer taking that than stairs.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We stayed in the triple room on the 2nd floor. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful from check in to checkout everything was easy and straight forward. The room was clean, a good size and comfortable, with everything you need. There was a good selection for breakfast and all was tasty. The location was fantastic. Walking distance to The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the other must see sites of Rome. There are some great places to eat nearby to - all at reasonable prices. Thank you for everything. When we return to Rome, we know where we’re staying.
We had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Hotel Amalfi. The location of the hotel is very near the Rail Station, only a few minutes walk. The hotel is also very close to the Colosseum and Forum which we were able to walk to in 10 minutes. The hotel staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The ladies who clean the rooms and provide breakfast bend over backwards to make sure all your needs are taken care of. And the front desk personnel are also very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amalfi and would stay there again.
In a great location in the centre of Rome within walking distance of the major attractions. We had a lovely double room with private bathroom with a good view of the street below. Friendly staff and brilliant buffet breakfast with everything you could want to eat and then some. I'd definitely return to this hotel. Good eats on the street close to the hotel and not far from mini supermarkets to buy beer etc.
Stayed with my friend in March 2017 and we fell in love with the hotel straight away - the owner is extremely kind & helpful. Our room was a good size and we had an impressive view of the Santa Maria Maggoire. Despite being located on a busy road, I was pleased to learn the shutters blocked out most of the noise at night so sleep wasn't an issue for me - and I'm the definition of light sleeper! The Colosseum is just a 15 minute walk & Trevi fountain is 23 mins. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and included amazing nutella croissants. I'm actually returning with my boyfriend at the end of June - I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Rome!
