Excellent stay. Great staff with great communication. Small, quiet, cute and has everything you need. Great location for sites and food. Breakfast was sweet breads and fruit delivered early every morning. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. We will definitely stay there again.
Aenea Superior Inn is a truly fantastic place to stay when visiting Rome. It is close to absolutely everything worth seeing, the rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend staying here!
Our family of five from Australia loved this location. Short walks (10 to 20 minute) to Termini, the Collesseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The ground floor apartment was great with two bathrooms and bedrooms and a kitchen and living area. There were many restaurants nearby and great amenities. Breakfast included - don't count on that arriving if you have an early start though.
Without a doubt this hotel’s best asset is it’s staff. Extremely friendly and always happy to help, whether it be giving us hints/tips navigating Rome (along with good routes to take) or holding our luggage safely until we made our way to the airport. Aenea is a lovely hotel hidden away in a side street in Rome; authentic enough but also very modern and comfortable. The small baskets of pastries hung outside our door each morning were enjoyed on the balcony, adding a lovely touch! Only concern was that the road outside the hotel was very dirty, with rubbish overflowing onto the pavement from the bins up the road. This spoilt the trips into the city, however was only a minor gripe. Fantastic hotel and would definitely visit again.
Stayed in this wee gem of an apartment for 5 nights with my husband and two teenage daughters. Accommodation was excellent could not fault this apartment. Staff were helpful if required but not obtrusive. Room was large. Beds very clean and comfy. Quiet to sleep. Shower room excellent. Towels changed if required daily. Lovely wee breakfast basket left on the door each morning at 7.30am. Tea/coffee/milk/jam/butters etc replaced daily. Fruit bowl filled each day in hall for guest use. Fridge full of cold drinks on arrival which were all free. We were left a bottle of wine for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Apartment in the Monti area of Rome close to some lovely restaraunts and Termini bus/train station really close by. Supermarket right across the road. Close to the Colloseum and walking distance to most places. Don’t hesitate in booking this place it was fab! We had a great holiday! Thank you Aenea for a fantastic break 😀
Great location on a quiet residential street, about a ten minute walk to the Colosseum, Forum, etc. as well as Termini station for the bullet train. Lots of restaurants and gelaterias nearby. Rm 5 is large, comfortable with a king and two small twin beds for children who were happy not to share a queen bed. Modern bathroom. Table for breakfast, refrigerator and hot water kettle. Pastries delivered at 7:30 AM but with prior request received them earlier. Great to have a balcony with a view of the nearby church steeple, a table and chairs for lunch or just reading. Breakfast limited to beverages, butter, jam, rolls and pastries, but a small supermarket across the street has anything one may need including affordable wines.
We stayed 2 nights in an apartment that had one bedroom and a day bed in the living space. The kitchen was large and had all the accomdations to cook. One night my daughter was not feeling well so we made pasta and ate in the apartment. Not like at home but manageable! The fridge is stocked with water and juices complimentary. Morning breakfast is croissants and rolls delivered to your door. A basket of jams and cookies is very nice too. We had a large balcony with a table and chairs and a clothes drying rack so we were able to wash some clothing. HIghly recommend! Close to train station and very quiet.
Have just returned from a girly weekend away staying at the Aenea Superior Inn. We didn’t arrive at the hotel until 1.30am so went straight to bed. There was 3 of us and we had a large double bed and a day bed all in one room and a separate bathroom. There was a little marble table and 3 chairs to sit and have our breakfast. Awoke in the morning to a lovely basket hanging on the door with rolls, croissants and pastries. There is a Nespresso machine, a basket of coffee, tea, sugar, jams etc which is topped up each day and juice, water & a couple of cans of fizz in the fridge. All the staff were polite and very helpful. They ordered a taxi for us and also sorted out our transfer shuttle for us. Opposite the hotel is a little supermarket. The location is perfect with lots of lovely restaurants, shops, bars etc around and within a ten minute walk of the magnificent Colosseum. All the places we ate and drank in the prices were very reasonable (although we do live in London) We took a Taxi from our hotel to The Vatican for €12 and then we walked around the rest of the time nothing was too far. There are so many beautiful places to visit there is always something see just round the corner! If I go back to Rome I would definitely stay here again x
I have just returned from a 3 night stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The hotel is in the lovely Monti area. It is on a nice quiet street which has lots of lovely bars, restaurants and little boutiques close by. Our room at the hotel was very clean and has everything you need such as a fridge, kettle, hairdryer and safe. The bed is very comfortable and the air-con is a bonus! Every morning, the hotel would leave a basket with rolls and pastries outside our door - which were delicious. The staff were also very friendly. They even looked after our cases as we had a later flight home. I really enjoyed staying here and would book again the next time I visited Rome.
We stayed for 3 nights and were very satisfied. We booked a family room for me, wife and 2 children 8 and 3 yrs old. The people at the reception were very polite, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, with 1 bedroom, one siting area with couch beds for the kids, separate kitchen, wc, and private veranda! There are various stores around the residence where you can find everything. Every morning, they left outside our door a basket with fresh bread, croissants and in the room we had butter, marmalade, a fridge with soft drinks, juices and water, and also espresso machine with capsules all free of charge! I highly recomend it for families and individuals.
