The hotel does not offer big amenities like gym or pool. it is all rather small. However, the service was good and the food was excellent. For warmer weather they have a nice roof terrace (we were there at christmas)

This hotel is a gem! Lovely family run hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable although tea/coffee making facilities would be a bonus as there is a fridge on the room. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean and it’s central for everything. There’s a great restaurant 2 doors down and a couple of shops and a cafe on the same block. The breakfast room is special and would be lovely in the summer as it’s outside, not so hot in the snow!!! Would definitely go back

Fantastic location, walking distance from all the major tourist attractions. Hotel is really quiet but and very close to a lot a great bars and restaurants. Staff were great, Has a gym, Roman baths, sauna and steam room

What a nice young front desk staff! Super helpful with parking our car in the ZTL-- call before to reserve a garage spot. Was upgraded to a balcony room, so nice! Wi-fi went down several times, however, and front desk/Stefano/Ernesto weren't the most helpful during this time when I had an important business meeting. Breakfast prices also were obscene for mediocre options-- walk down the street for croissant and cappuccino.

So far we have only had good experiences at this boutique brand, which is part of IHG Group. My husband is an IHG member, and we much prefer the Indigo hotels to the often staid and stuffy Intercontinental. Hotel Indigo Rome was no different, We loved the area in which the hotel was located, which was in a relatively quiet, but near many key sites. It was an easy walk to the Vatican, Trastevere, and Piazza Navona. There are lots of great restaurants and shops in the immediate area, and it is perfect for walking by the river as well. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which we really appreciated. The style of the rooms is very contemporary, and by European standards, our suite was very spacious. We slept soundly every night, as there was no noise from surrounding areas and we were not facing the street. The service was always friendly and prompt. No snobbishness here. Finally, I would say that the Indigo is very well priced compared to other five-star properties in Rome, which is just another selling point for an all-around great hotel.

Thank to all staff for excellent service gave to me. Overall is wonderful place, from lobby, reception, room. Thanks to all and i will back later on december for new year eve with my familly and boyfriend

My husband and I visited the Hotel Indigo to celebrate our 5th anniversary for four nights in September. What a brilliant find!!!! Our room was gorgeous (we intentionally opted for a Superior Room as we had been advised the standard rooms could be small) with lots of space and the complementary and well stocked mini bar was a lovely touch. The most invaluable item we received was the free phone that helped us navigate to all the sites, look up places of interest and make calls if necessary - absolute genius. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning which was delicious with lots of choice at the buffet (including a notably extensive gluten free selection). We also had a drink one afternoon on the roof terrace which was just perfect. The hotel was wonderfully located for visiting all the sites and great restaurants by foot. This would have been a five star review if the bathroom had been a bit bigger and if the reception staff had been a little more helpful but regardless I highly recommend the Hotel Indigo and if we ever visit Rome again we’ll definitely return.

The Indigo is a fantastic base from which to explore Rome. There are loads of restaurants right on the doorstep and it's close to both the Vatican and the fountains. The Colosseum is a little further but still not that far - even with children. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need and we all enjoyed the small pool, sauna and steam room at the end of a long day sightseeing. We only had dinner in the restaurant once but it was delicious and, again, children well catered for. If we go back to Rome we'd definitely stay here again.

Against my wishes, our group of 4 booked 2 rooms at this hotel in Rome. I wanted a boutique Italian hotel while my friends wanted the comforts of a "chain hotel". I was pleasantly surprised with the choice that was made to stay at the Indigo. It was comfortable and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They booked train tickets for us and never steered us wrong with any information we requested. The reason I did not give the hotel a 5 was 2-fold. The hotel in general, but specifically the guest rooms were kept way too warm. Even though we traveled in late January, we actually had to keep the window open a bit in order to cool down the room enough to sleep at night. Second, the spa area never had hot water that one would expect in a hot tub. We tried to use the facility on 2 different occasions and were told that the hot water was not functioning both times. This would have been a nice break from walking all day. The location is great. Off the busy main streets, but with walking distance to just about everything. The Vatican was only 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Our room was upgraded and when we booked the room we mentioned the reason of our stay was a wedding anniversary, we had a surprise gift from the hotel (a prosecco wine) inside our room. The room is so modern and sophisticated. The only hotel that provides us with the free smart phone that allows you to make free local and international calls with free data during your stay. I mean...I'm sold! Location was good as well, all the attractions are in walking distance (20 min). Thank you Indigo. We really appreciate the service!
