First time into Italy I didn't know what to expect when I booked it. Everything was perfect. Every interaction I had with staff was professionally handled. They all were smiling and cared about my experience. Staff recommended two eating establishments to try and their advice was prudent. The included breakfast room delivery was very nicely displayed, on time and delicious. I had a wonderful view out my window overlooking the street below. Room was beautiful and had everything I needed. Building was secure as your card key got you in off the street. This added to a private feel that made the experience even better. There is nothing that they could have done better. Someday I will return to Rome and will look up this place again. Was walking distance to everything that you would want to see. 30 minutes to Colesseum and Train Station. Less than five minutes to Spanish Steps. 45 minutes to St Peters. Time flies when you walk ad there is so much to take in.
Love this hotel! Small, with character, reasonably priced, great location, and with a helpful, gracious staff. The bed was large and comfortable. Could not have been happier with this decision, and the hotel is just a short distance from the metro, making it ultra convenient.
We truly had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming, attentive, and available to help in every way that we needed such as making reservations at local restaurants. We were given an upgrade to this exceptional hotel room. The decor was out of this world, truly made you feel as though you were staying during the height of the Renaissance. Centrally located to many attractions, shops, and the subway. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
We stayed at the lovely hotel from Feb 9 - 16. The rooms had a lovely decor, quite spacious (I was alone) and very clean. The only thing I was not too satisfied with was the free breakfast. I happened to travel to Florence and stayed for one night at a budget hotel with an exceptional breakfast buffet. I would therefore recommend to the owners to provide a better breakfast. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed 11th to 14th Feb, would recommend hotel. Small reception but room stayed in was big and clean. Staff were very helpful and the location is perfect!!! Breakfast is nice enough and there is W suite facilities with hair dryer.
This is a small, charming hotel with good sized rooms, good on-suite facilities and plenty of old Italian character. The staff is most welcoming, big smiles and very helpful. The location is outstanding - we arrived late in the evening and one feels very safe in the surroundings. One can easily walk to all the main attractions and is surrounded by small, cosy cafes and restaurants. In fact I would suggest to walk rather than take the underground (though that is only 4min walk away) since there are so many charming and ancient little streets to soak up the atmosphere. Good value for money. Thank you for a great stay.
First we found the service first class. This includes several members of staff over three and a half days. Second the location was superb, a hundred metres from the Spanish steps and no more than twenty minutes to the Colluseum. Third the rooms were quirky with interesting decor and more than enough room for the time you are in them. The bearable flaws were beds a bit firmer than we are used to (but this is a personal choice and with enough alcohol.....) the bathroom was tired and could have accommodated a bigger shower (750 ish a bit cramped) the air conditioning had been turned off (save costs probably) , at times the noise from the adjacent street level was intrusive but died down later in the night and finally breakfast was totally underwhelming. A choice of rolls a croissant plus one beverage each delivered on a trolley. We didn't bother after the first morning. We have deducted half a star for these flaws. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and for the money we paid we thought it was close to excellent even with the flaws.
Although the location is great all the other is very bad a spacialy the service. The rooms are very small not more than a 14 sq m - dont belive the room description in hotels web. The hotel is very old and the smell in the room was bed The breakfast, if you can call Coffey and cake a breakfast, is served into the small room. And the top of the stay were the roud Italian guy (the one that work in the morning and very full eith himself) that works in the mornings in the reseption. After my complaint on the size of the room he recommended to leave the hotel without refund. Also he toll our texi driver, who looked for us that we didnt stay on his hotel In a one word shame Be careful
The biggest catching point on this hotel is the location for sure. It is really close to the Spanish steps and a lot of amazing restaurants. We would defiantly come back to this hotel. Only down side are the limited breakfast options and that you need to pay extra if you want to get some eggs.
Overall a nice stay. Location is just perfect and for the price it is great value. Bed was a bit tough in my opinion as it was two singles stuck together. Bathroom is good and breakfast a sweet touch.
