In general, I felt that the price paid for this "luxury" hotel was not worthwhile compared to other hotels in the area, you're really paying for the historical value of the property and nothing else. Staff service was OK, depending on what you need from them. Room was clean, but definitely not what ...
What a wonderful hotel - right in the cento. We arrived on a Saturday night - the staff was very helpful and the room was great and very quiet and clean. After getting settled we strolled over to the Zócalo just a block away. A great base for exploring Oaxaca.

I have stayed here many times. I was surprised this time, my room smelt strongly of perfume, the air-conditioner did not work properly, the bottled water was already opened, and the towels were stained.

We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice refreshing pool and a great location. The only negative is that the WiFi did not work in our room which was tucked in the back on the ground floor. I wish we would have had a room on an upper floor

Very small rooms for the price, there was not air conditioner; and the bed was unpleasant to sleep The staff is very nice

Beautiful View! Staff was friendly and room was very clean! Worth every penny! Only con would be that the location is a bit from the Zocalo. However, cab ride back and forth is not impossible.

Breakfast was always cold. The hotel staff is friendly and all of our requests were taken care immediately. Aside of the restaurant I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The Venue is great. The only issues I had is the location has a lot of traffic noise, and the staff was a bit rude when they ran out of water for the rooms and did not get more for in a few days.
