Located on a hillside in the city outskirts, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers great views of the city.
Beautiful View! Staff was friendly and room was very clean! Worth every penny! Only con would be that the location is a bit from the Zocalo. However, cab ride back and forth is not impossible.
The reception staff were very helpful particularly Liz and Luis. They guided us to places we wanted to visit including making the phone calls to clarify things since we are not fluent in Spanish. Thanks for stepping up! The breakfast place got so busy 2 days during the peak of the Day of the Dead celebration that it took a long time to be served and the waiters were getting grumpy like us!
A lovely respite from the activity of the city with a perfect pool and exquisite view.
close to Guelaguetza auditorium and grandview of the Oaxaca City
My hotel was nice. My bad experience was who ever went in and took our money. I complained to the front desk (Luis was the guys name) he stayed quiet then said he couldn't do anything.
We loved our stay Family friendly Great view Great pool Shuttle into el Centro was awesome Wonderful staff
A delight to see the city and valley from above! Exquisite grounds and view from the bar, restaurant, and the balcony of my room. Not over the top luxurious or a place to just wander off walking the streets of the city but perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing. For those with mobility issues, there are many steps, lots of walking, and no elevators. Will definitely return to chill out by the pool!
I just returned from a weekend stay at the Victoria Hotel and was very pleased with my choice. The staff, restaurant and services were excellent. My only concern would be access for those needing a wheelchair as there is not an elevator and the site of the hotel is sprawled out over a hillside overlooking the town ( great views from many rooms, the pool!, the bar). I will definitely return.
