Like many hotels and motels, Days Inn in Rockingham, NC could use some minor improvements. I feel it will be getting those improvements soon. The staff there have satisfied my needs in a very friendly and professional manner. I have stayed there numerous times and I will again. The price for a nights stay is reasonable. Thank you, Days Inn of Rockingham. Ethel Young
Air conditioner barely worked. We tried to not move it was so hot! Ice maker didn't work Bed was very old. Horrible bed
5/5/17 We stopped over night on our way to the beach. The grounds, room, lobby were dirty. Very limited breakfast. Outdated yogurt. In very poor repair. The Days Inn had the only vacancies in town. We should have drove on or stayed in our car. Poor value for your dollar.
the light fixture next to bed hung by wires, 1 next to TV had to manually screw in bulb to work, the toilet actually moved up and down a lot/inches when you sat on it, bed had giant hole in mattress on 1 side where some large person must have stayed for a long time, etc., etc. the ladies at the desk were just wonderful and tried to be understanding to everyone I heard them speak to.
This was a last minute stop but it turned out to be fine. We did not do breakfast as we slept too late. Room was clean. Haven't stayed in a Days Inn in years because we were not happy with it but this one was good.
Dusty around furniture, walls, and refrigerator. Trash left on top of toilet. Bugs in shower, paint peeling , holes in wall. Some holes in bed cover, stains on pillows. Would not recommend even after they charged 89.95
We were returning home after evacuating from Hurricane Matthew to Myrtle Beach. Many of the hotels, gas stations, et al on our route home had no power, hence non availability of facilities. We had need for what George Washington used to refer to as the "necessary room." This hotel proprietor readily understood and made special provisions for us. If that amount of hospitality would be applied to this property for an overnight[s] stay, we know if would be a 5* hotel to stay in.
We sought refuge from Hurricane Matthew and found this hotel. Overall OK (nothing fancy but it kept us warm and safe). The breakfast layout needs organized. People waiting in line in front of the waffle maker blocking the toaster, fridge, cereal, etc. Slim pickings but it was a free breakfast. We lost power the third day for 24 hours. Frustrated as there was power right up the street on the opposite side of the intersection. Was told when power goes out there, they do not rush to turn it back on. People started leaving the following morning with no power. We did as well but luckily was able to return back home after the storms came in.
The room was not the cleanest. The tv and microwave were very dusty. The sink area needed to wiped off better. Definitely afraid to let the toothbrush touch the counter. There was a leak under the sink and bathtub not very clean. The walls were even dirty in places. However, the sheets appeared to be clean so we did stay the one night. We had planned on staying two but not worth $100 a night.
old facility in need of some touch ups, poor internet access, staff friendly but had wrong phone #'s for wyndham rewards and internet access assistance. A bit expensive for this type of unit.
