We stay at many Hamptons. This one needs some work with its amenities. The One staff on duty had many excuses for the incongruity in the TV and phones. His chief excuse was Hurricane Matthew and arguments between hotel and provider blaming each other for the problems in the phone system, meanwhile the ones who suffer are the guests! They changed cable provider and their is no list of TV channels so you had to hunt and peck for stations. The TV in our room was analog while the unit in the lounge area by the breakfast room was hi definition! The breakfast was on par with other Hamptons, very good. The place was quiet. Throughout the hotel there are little physical details that indicate that it is time for renovation such as peeling wall paper in our bathroom, some paint problems in the halls and some beat up trim here and there. It was by far the least expensive Hampton we have ever stayed in and looks good on the outside. We like the location and hope that some day they will get their upgrade.
I've stayed at this Hampton a few times on my way south. It is what i've come to expect from Hampton Inn, clean, comfortable and friendly people. It is definitely a good value for the money and worth a stay!
It's an out of the way place so the room was affordable for a Hampton Inn. Was not let down with my expectations for it to be as good as Hampton Inns are consistently. Only a few places to eat in town and no sites, so to speak, but if you are headed on down the road, it's a great place to stay.
It was my first time visiting this part of North Carolina. I really enjoyed my stay. I felt so relaxed knowing that I had booked my reservation ahead of time so once I arrived, I wouldn't have to wonder were there any vacancies.
Laurinburg is not very big so 5 star hotels are not an option this Hampton Inn should be a little cheaper but it is good quality and I would recommend and stay here again when visiting. Good Breakfast and pool!
It snowed one evening and no hotel staff was any where to be found. None of the emergency exits or regular walk ways were cleared and were snow covered and icy from 9PM until I left for work at 7:30 AM. If your a hh member like me, you will probably be disappointed. The over all customer service was way below average.Same day no hot breakfast or grab and go bags. My room was not cleaned and all I was told was the girl didn't come in ..REALLY?
The hotel staff were very accommodating for the set up of my dad's party. We were allowed to use their conference room and they offered assistance with the audio/visual equipment. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff, from the front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and eager to help if any capacity.
They only have vending machines with drinks and snacks, if you are like me and don't carry cash you are in trouble, after a7 hr drive I did not want to drive to a store to get something to drink or snack on, so I did without.
Overall stay was ok but there was no internet in the rooms and will not stay here when there are other options that offer internet. My limited interaction with staff was good and place seemed clean so I would say it ok for single night stay just to rest your eyes.
Usually very pleased with Hampton Inn, not on this trip. Drive as far out of your way before staying at this hotel. Front desk staff was not very friendly. When we left, not a word was spoken. I handed him my key to the room and he never looked up and never spoke.
