When I arrived they gave me a room that was already given to someone else. Not sure how that happened but it wasn’t a good experience.

The front staff was friendly until we asked for kitchen supplies. Everything...facility, room, kitchen supplies were run down, dingy and just dirty looking. It smelled like smoke everywhere. The TV's were older than time. There was very little furniture to sit. We will not stay again.

It was very quiet and the room was much bigger than expected. We will be back!
Room decor is excellent. Strange smell in the hallway. WiFi cuts out every couple of minutes.
No issues - good basic room. Breakfast lacked protein options - but i wasnt there for the breakfast.
Service and staff were really great. Hotel looks like they've done some recent updates, both in the rooms and outside of the rooms. The restaurant and some areas were a little bit of maze getting to, although not bad. Overall, great place to stay.
From the desk greeting to checkout our stay was very nice. The staff were extremely personable and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for when you have to spend time away from home.
I stayed in three different Comfort Inns in Northern Illinois on this trip. This particular location was older but the lobby area looked like it had recently been remodeled. The room was clean, the complimentary breakfast was well done and the staff was very helpful. Initially as I walked into my room, I noticed a musty smell which I didn't seem to notice after a few minutes. My two biggest complaints would be the poor work lighting (none of the lamps were very bright) and a sagging bed. Rochelle seemed to be a quiet town where I felt safe walking around after dark. The location is a straight shot down highway 251 to the Rockford Airport, which is what I was looking for. The hotels in Rockford which were closer to the airport did not appear to be in a safe part of town, so I was happy to find the Comfort Inn in Rochelle. I can't say much about the amenities because I had so much work to finish, I barely poked my head out the door except to walk across the street to find some dinner.
Room was clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioner didn't cool real well.
The exterior of the hotel was quite dingy which made me worry about my experience, but the hotel interior was up to date, clean and comfortable. The parking was a bit troublesome in that they have limited space. All in all the hotel is 5 min from everything the town has to offer and provided me an enjoyable place to stay.
There were places nearby to eat. Everything was clean. [...] had not posted that the indoor pool was being rennovated; and unfortunately, the outdoor pool was closed due to rain. After driving all day, I look forward to stretching the muscles in the pool. I picked this hotel because of the pool and was disappointed. Swimming is no stress on the knees and I don't use exercise machines.
