It was a roof and a bed, the shower had water coming out of it - sort of, water out of the tap was weirdly cloudy.

The heater in the room did not work and it was 45 F outside so room never got to 55 F.. Used the hair dryer to warm my hands. When I checked in the only room available in my booking type was on the second floor but he could not even give me a lower class room on first floor because system would not allow him to change the room.

Expected much worse based on previous reviews. However, the room was clean. They do allow smoking in some of the rooms, and it's obvious the minute you walk into the hotel. We had a smoking room, as that was all that was available due to a big event in the area. Despite this, the room itself was not bad. Beds were comfy and the hotel was very quiet. Rates were reasonable, and location was close to the highway. Overall, not a bad experience

Room was adequate for a one night traveling stay. Room was clean. Would have been helpful to have staff available without needing to call them.

This hotel is definitely not worth even staying one night to get by. Its disgusting.

We were almost knocked over from the horrible smell in the room. The bedspreads and towels were completely stained and gross looking (not a few stains, completely covered in obvious, very noticeable stains). The tub had a dark dirt ring around it (not rust, dark gray dirt), and had hair all over the walls and shower curtain. The refrigerator in the room was gross, with orangey brown stuff growing all over the outside and the inside, as well as on the carpet it was sitting on. It was not rust, I was able to wipe it off. Someone put a sticker from a coleman cooler on the fridge door, and they just left it. Smoke detector in the room had no battery, hatch open, empty. We didn't expect much for the breakfast, as it was just a bonus, but we were still very disappointed. First, the breakfast pros. There was 2 kinds of cereal, milk, butter for the toast, a lot of peanut butter, and grape jelly. Now the bad. There was a few pieces of bread and a few formerly frozen, thawed toaster waffles that you could toast. Those waffles really aren't meant to be left sitting in a plastic bin on a counter all morning, but that's where they were. Thawed waffles did not toast well. Oddly, there was no syrup. Either morning. Who eats waffles with nothing on them? All in all, the little counter looked very barren. At the start of breakfast, a few pieces of bread and thawed waffles and almost no coffee for a completely booked hotel. Nothing was ever full, and no one was around to ask. Dirty, bad.

great clean comfortable room, close to interstate 88,great stuff and great breakfast bar

Stayed there while on business trip. Great room for the price!

The only reason I stay at this hotel is for the price.

Not impressed. The microwave and refrigerator were not operable. HBO was not provided as advertised. The pillows were flat and very uncomfortable.

When I arrived I check in was very easy and fast. I had a big surprise when I opened the door to my room. There was a beer bottle on the night stand and the bed was not made. Towels on the floor and a real mess in the room. I went back to the office and said “ I think I need a different room”. The man at the desk said he didn’t know why his wife gave me that room because it hadn’t been cleaned (oh really). My next room was lacking the beer bottle and the mess. One of the lights in the room was not working. The bathroom light was a very low wattage energy saving type as were the other lights in the room. Since there were only 2 motels in Dixon Ill. there is not much of a choice unless I wanted to pay $100 per night at the other one, which I did not. I think if there is a next time I’ll take a nap in my car.

In Dixon visiting family, the hotel was close to his home with easy access to roadway. The room size was what I expected as well as the amenities and it was quiet. however the room could have been cleaned better. There was a safety issue with a dorm sized fridge with a microwave on top of it stacked on dresser and not secured to wall.

Stayed only one night. Trip was for business purpose. As with most one or two star hotels, the rooms are not kept up very well. Carpets need to be cleaned (water extraction method). Bathroom door did not close well due to uneven floor. Ventilation fan did not work in bathroom.
