Something was off with this location. If you don’t look too close, it is great. But when you look at the finer details, you see where the hotel has cut corners and it shows. There was no spa/hot tub even though it is advertised as such. The indoor pool area is NOT safe and it is deteriorating the area pretty quickly. My teenage son didn’t feel well after his swim in the pool. It had strong chlorine smell and burned our eyes the longer we stayed in the pool area. Chipped paint, rusty window frames, and a musty smell in the lobby. Glad I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately when we arrived late Monday night, the room we were assigned smelled awful of sewage. Too late to switch, I waited till the next morning to ask for a different room. The next day, cleaning wasn’t done and we came back to a dirty room and no clean towels. Realizing it was a holiday week and short staff made for a less than pleasant stay. Too bad, as we had a very nice stay back at Thanksgiving.

This is a decidedly average accommodation. Positives include comfortable bed and convenient location, and breakfast staff that was cheery and attentive to the status of the buffet. The buffet itself was meh at best. There are a few things that could use improvement. The general condition of the hotel leans toward time worn- it could use fresh paint and new carpet. The elevators are pretty dingy and the underground parking suffers from seriously inadequate lighting.
