Clean, large room. All the extras like hair dryer and shampoos with big, soft towels. Close to eateries but also has attached dining that is good and has a daily dinner buffet. Attached to large truck stop facility but no noise from the trucks or the freeway nearby. Even had a small, continental breakfast. Stayed here a year ago so came back and was very happy with the facility and staff.
We had a reservation and came in around 10pm. All hotels in the area were sold out due to eclipse traffic headed north. Our room was saved for us, the desk clerk was friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. No complaints at all.
Our check in time was 2 but we got there at 1 and was told our room would be ready around 230, they would call us when it's ready, when we didn't get a call by 330 we went there to find out we would have to wait another 25 min for our room to be ready... We didn't get our room til close to 4...we hadn't had any sleep the night before and were very tired and irritated it took so long to check in
We had no problems with our room. Staff was friendly. It's located right next to a cute little casino and an Iron Skillet restaurant. Couldn't ask for more.
The room was very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and the location for my fiance and my self was perfect. Only downfall was that you could hear the people above you walking around and if someone talked outside in the hall a little to loud you could hear it in your room. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and we are planning on staying here next year for our trip.
We had a booking for 6 people and they gave a room with only one bed. When we were complaining, the "manager" threatened us that he has the right to refuse service. Since it was past 10pm and the kids were tired after a long day of skiing, we took what they gave us. The pullout couch was broken, the "futon" was bumpy and horrible. If it was in the daytime, we would have just left. I would give them a minus rating. The free breakfast is the only thing that was ok. The rest of the experience was terrible. To top it all, when we complained to the manager in the morning, she said that it was not up to them. Orbitz/Expedia were the ones who picked the room. Really?? A room with one bed is enough for 6 people?
appreciated the handicapped room----very good breakfast
Very attentive staff. Went above and beyond our expectations.
Requested 2 non-smoking rooms and were told we had requested smoking. The odor in both rooms was so overwhelming it caused one to feel nauseous. We therefore spent most of our time at the casino next door where we'd witnessed an altercation and poor quality of service.
Very clean hotel with a terrific staff. Close to amenities and easy freeway access
The staff was wonderful, very eager to please their guests. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was a little lacking in choices but I'm very picky about my diet. The location was great because you don't have to put up with any crowds or noise yet it has easy access to the freeway and it was just minutes to the convention. The price was reasonable and I'd say it was a great value compared to staying in one of the big casinos in town.
it was good, a good choice for booking in a rush in the same day of travel, next door to the Alamo casino and truck stop
There were some complications to get checked in because we showed up early in the morning. We couldn't order food because we called 30 minutes too early. When we checked out the manager or attendant at the front desk was rude and had trouble explaining why my voucher and receipt were different prices so I was charged $30 over the actual price and she took away my receipt and told me I wasn't suppose to have a receipt. Very rude customer service!
We needed to place to rest and stay. Most of the time was out and about. The free breakfast could have been better. But definately will stay here again!
Your allowance of animals near a casino that does not allow animals was a pain in the rear. How can people leave their dogs unattended in their rooms, barking, while they are gambling?
the super8 in sparks was an adquate place to stay. i did think it was way over priced, but i think that was because there was a car show in town.
this hotel was a nice place to stay. It was easy to find. nice comfortable room. would stay there again.
