Lovely hotel, right in the middle of downtown.. Plenty of restaurants to choose from on the property. Parking is convenient. Easy access to I-80. Less than 10 minutes to the airport. Rooms are quiet, roomy, and clean. I was upgraded to a Spa Suite which was fabulous!.

Could use updated outlets. More outlets in general. Outlets not behind nightstand and outlets with USB would be helpful. Also, with a two bed room could you stock the bathroom with two shampoo's.

For me it's pretty much a toss-up between the Silver Legacy and ElDorado. Both are solid choices, along with Harrah's in Reno. SL and ED have the advantage of being connected along with Circus Circus allowing for casino hopping without going outside.

Last stayed at this hotel approx. 15 years ago. Upon arrival, place still looked the same. Rooms are clean and inviting. Next time in town, I would stay here again.

Nice decor, no smoking room Overall, would stay here again...

Terrible midnight check-in process. No help. Had to call on own phone to get help at counter. Tried to give smoking room to non smoker. Solved by giving spa room as compensation. Spa room was large, overlooked reno, even had own ice machine. Tasty morning pastry choices.

Positives. Location was downtown near everything. Room was spacious and clean Staff was great. Plenty of self parking Negatives: Casino was smoky. Overall: A cut below its Vegas counterparts, but a good place to stay. I'd stay here again.q

First time in Reno. Got a bit worried driving around and seeing a lot of seedy places. Then Eldorado came into view and I was relieved! Wonderful complex of Eldorado-Silver Legacy-Circus Circus via skywalks and they share the same player points card which is nice. Pull into Eldorado's valet (it's free!), get help with your bags (please tip them), have your bags delivered to your room, check in, then relax in your spacious clean very comfortable room. Stay in the new part if you can; book a "superior" room (mine was larger, high floor, end of hallway, great view). I checked out the pool and it looked quite nice and not crowded or crazy but I didn't swim. I was thrilled with absolutely everything--except the adjacent slamming doors way too early in the morning. Drinks are free if you're gambling (please tip them), some slots paid pretty well, many new games are fun (The Simpsons), quite a bit of smoke including cigars in the main casino but there's a no-smoking floor. The casino is crowded on Friday night in the summer. Overall, I had a very nice time and would go back if ever in Reno area.

I loved staying here. Close to downtown River walk and other hotels/casinos. Felt very secure with all the security guards.

The AC was not working properly, but they fixed enough to get thru the night. Beside the heat, the room was okay. Next time I would stay in the new tower.

The bed was beyond Marriott Quality! Hot tubbing while looking over the city at night made upgrading rooms a easy choice. My normal stay is the Peppermill and feel Eldorado was equal other than Steakhouse. Casino was lacking some of the newer games, roulette table wasn't staffed... Did enjoy Monty Python's slot machine, never stopped laughing. Had dinner at Roxy's, which was excellent food. Just not the table service for $150 meal...

WE WERE SO EXCITED TO ARRIVE, UPON CHECK IN IT ALL WANT DOWNHILL. THE EMPLOYEES EXCEPT FOR ONE LADY IN KENO, SEEM MISERABLE AND ARE JUST SHORT OF RUDE. PROPERTY IS EXTREMELY DATED. THE FOOD IS BLAND, OVERPRICED AND TEMPID. WE SPENT LITTLE TIME HERE AND ENJOYED MUST OF OUR STAY AT THE ATLANTIS.

My wife handicap and their are many places special lift required to get araound , every time when we call to open left door it take 15 to 30 minute to get 5 to 7 stair . Show up security person. Phon help is impsible. We for got walker at valet waiting aria still waiting to find out reply. Phone disconnected 3 times or hang up

Clean hotel. Good buffet downstairs. Too bad there were a lot of homeless people around.

Booked the Luxury King room. Room was beyond dusty and the furnishings were chipped and worn. I opted to upgrade to the Player Suite for an additional fee. That room was awesome.

COMFORTABLE STAY FOR ONE NIGHT STOPOVER.I ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT AND LEFT EARLY IN THE MORNING.

Staff was friendly. Hard to get a drink while gambling.

Wonderful evening! Great staff! Excellent restaurants!

We visited at a terrible time, flooded river, snow and mudslides closed many roads. The best part of the deserted hotel was the staff- they really rose to the occasion. I would give the place a higher rating but the circumstances of our trip were truly dismal. When we were stranded due to not having a 4WD vehicle, the concierge helped us get a bargain.

Room was grungy and reeked of cigarettes although room was non-smoking. The Buffet was terrible, best thing there was the soda.
