We had a blip night one. The thermostat didn't respond to changes. We called service and they immediately came to help. The fix needed excessive time, so they moved us to an upgraded room and removed our resort fees. We felt they went above and beyond in their efforts to make the stay a great one. Valet parking was easy but getting our luggage was a bit challenging, they forgot to put it on the conveyor belt to the bellhop room but it was found after a scare with my medication. Rooms comfy and clean, slots were not bad at all. Highly recommended—Brenda

Absolutely no issues with the facility, the staff, or food options. Reno is unfortunately not even a Shadow of the Reno if the 1980's. Miss the slot tournaments, buffets, just "Old Reno". The El Dorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus were a nice "Reflection", they were just as nice, enjoyable as they always have been. (However I stayed Exclusively at Fitzgerald's for their Player Perks.) Don't change, "The Row" has that old Reno feel.

Reserved two Luxury King Bed non-smoking rooms. Called the hotel and requested the rooms be located near each other and a high floor. Also asked to have a view towards downtown. Upon arriving the hotel and while waiting in line I overheard the receptionist mention the to folks ahead of us that she gave them a free upgrade. I asked the couples what type of room they booked and she said a luxury king bed non smoking. When it was our time to check in I repeated the requests I made on the phone to the receptionist and asked if we could also have an upgrade. She said no problem. We were assigned our rooms and I asked about an upgrade and she she couldn't offer it to us. Our rooms were located next to each other. We were on the 6th floor (actual floor was 3 levels above the mezzanine) View was towards north Reno and the top of the roof of the casino. almost level with the roof. My travel friend told me not to make a fuss so we kept the assigned rooms. We wanted to eat at La Strada restaurant but it was closed. In the morning we found the Coffee shop restaurant was also closed, only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Certainly not the El Dorado of the past.
